The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It felt natural somehow to have everyone together like this: him, his brother, and Sam. The banter was easy-going for the most part and they were laughing and smiling. He could stay like this forever, especially as long as Sam was in his arms. And she felt so much more relaxed as time wore on, like she was feeding off their mutual energy. He hated the idea of her being in any danger and that's all he could think about when he heard about Troy taking her flying. He'd done it once or twice, but it was for a hunt or something when speed or stealth was needed and wings could get him places where legs couldn't. He never did it for fun, but just knowing why Troy probably did it with Sam was more the catalyst behind his anger than anything. He felt a pang of jealousy for the history between his brother and his girlfriend. He knew it was over. They didn't even have anything official and it was already over and he knew nothing would happen between them, but it still hurt to think they'd known each other long before he was back in the picture. Not that he could blame them. Sam was gorgeous and Troy was always a looker. They probably would have been good together, but it wasn't meant to be. Troy was about to be married now and had a kid. It was still hard for Kit to believe. She looked up at him, obviously trying to calm him when she said that they were safe and she knew Troy wouldn't let anything happen to her. Troy scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Obviously." He agreed with her. She said she wasn't helpless and Kit gave a surrendering sigh as he ran a hand through his hair. "I know that. I just hate to think that something could have happened." He took another breath to calm himself. She added on about her former title and Kit smirked a little, his eyes dancing. "I bet you were a force to be reckoned with." He said with a smile. She seemed whistful, saying she missed being royalty sometimes. Kit's face faltered a little at that, but he shared a look with his brother before looking back at her. "You wouldn't have time for that anyway once the princess is here. And you'll always be my queen." He added with an affectionate kiss on the forehead. The subject turned to their Fae friend, Dorian, then, and Kit tried his best to keep up. They both seemed fond of him so Kit made it a priority to meet this guy some day. His brow arched up when Sam said he lived in Medieval Italy. "Sounds charming." He commented before his face sobered when Sam started looking upset. She was obviously devastated about the distance between her and Dorian now and he brought her hand to his lips for a chaste kiss. "I'm sure you two will be thick as thieves again in no time. You're very persuasive." He added with a reassuring smile. As Troy focused on ordering food, he got some time to spend with his girlfriend and their growing baby. His whole face lit up when he felt the kick, gasping in surprise as she joined him in sweet talking the little princess. They talked about names and she seemed over the moon when he agreed that Ariella was a good name. She said that was it and he smiled with a nod. As her lips met his, he felt his whole world shift and sighed into the kiss. His whole body seemed to meld to hers instantly, even before she threw her arms around him and pulled him close. As she murmured the words to him, his eyes snapped open, but instantly softened as he smiled and kissed her again. "And I love this amazing woman in my arms." He felt like a weight have been lifted off his chest at finally saying the words out loud. Everything felt right with the world. Then he heard someone clear their throat.... |
