Walking out of the clinic with Bo he thought back to the man's question about his thief's tools and if they were always on him. Tipson had given Bjorn a somewhat confused look at the time and remained silent. Legally assumption left the young man as innocent till proven guilty. Verbally admitting to it was a clear claim to guilt.
Tipson grins at Bjorn as he comments on Tipson being sloppy. As if he'd ever! "Lunch box, a box of paper clips, c'mon. I don't call that reckless. If I worried about every word I said I'd never get to have fun." The throat is still sore, actually more so after having yelped a few times earlier. There were times a person just can't keep quiet though.
Tipson starts to take the box and then Bjorn is asking him more questions. What the heck did this guy care about those things? "I'll manage and if I have it at home soup." Never rely on others and they never let you down. Tipson had made becoming self-reliant a priority fast. Getting the box, he made his way back to Bjorn's car while the man seemed to be musing over something.
Tipson had paid attention as they went to be well aware that no one else was out watching them. Keeping his back towards the clinic, hands, and box facing the car he pulls out his knife to slice through a bit of packing tape. The knife is once more slipped out of sight and mind and the box is opened.
Bjorn threw a surprise at him before Tipsy had the box opened all the way. Bjorn got a critical look, Tipson searching for the trick somehow embedded in this offer. Three ladies at his house and a lot of food? What the heck was with this guy and doing stuff? Was he the sort that just wanted to pity all kids or did he see Tipson as unable to care for himself? Free meal. "Still don't see why you're doing it. Fun excuse but, sure I'd like a free meal."
Insider the box were gems, some pretty nice ones at that. Tipson picks up one or two and eyes them carefully. He'd have to get someone to look at them for a real value estimate before someone at the market tried to rip him off. Bjorn had acted concerned about threats. These didn't seem like a threat to Tipson? Oh well. Tipson's lip twitched. The gems were cradled in a foamy interior box. Tipson pulled off the fancy outer box, held it up with two fingers to show Bjorn, "I said I wanted the box," then offering over the interior one still holding all the gems. "I don't care about a bunch of rocks. If your friends want to play rock collection that's up to you guys."
Tipson would attempt to open the car door, seeing if it was unlocked ready to go, "C'mon, I'm hungry and then I'm making use of your bed so hopefully you got enough."
