West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Tobias, with his terribly long legs, looked almost comical as he took a seat upon the floor of Henry's bedroom beside Rhett. The toddler, satisfied now that his mouth was occupied and his near obsessive need to chew was sated, had fallen into a quiet state of contentment. Neither Father or son, it seemed, had any inclination of moving any time soon. The pair having made themselves comfortable on the floor of Henry's bedroom. It was the unusual potency of Henry's scent within that room however that seemed to prompt an almost quizzical look from the leopard as he queried whether or not this was Henry's personal room now. It was unusual, after all, for the blond to linger after those pack meetings. Henry so often inclined to disappear for days at a time. Yet, Tetradore so hardly seemed concerned by the blond man's comings and goings. Tobias, in turn, paid little mind to Henry's actions. After all, such things mattered little to the Nightshade Beta. His concerns so rarely persisted beyond food, or sleep, or watching over his beloved Alpha and companion. Tetradore, however, seemed relatively at peace with Henry's existence. Tobias, in turn, was content enough to tolerate the man as he did most other beings within his life.

It was, however, Tobias' next question that seemed to prompt a stronger reaction from the man- even if it was decidedly subtle. It was, after all, that non-verbal communication in which Tobias excelled. That change in heart rate, in posture, that shift of a facial feature, a lip, an eye. Those discrete and seemingly silent changes so affording the deviant a wealth of information upon which his fractured mind seemed to seize with an almost predatory relish. He was oblivious, in every sense, to that drama that had existed between Henry and his partner. A veritable soap opera most of the pack seemed to already know about and yet-such things hardly mattered to the dark-eyed man with the shaggy hair. Relationships were....oddities within his mind. Both complex and...overreachingly simple all at once. Tobias, after all, so had a habit of cutting to the heart of the manner- blunt as it often was. His mind, after all, was prone to directness. To find a straight path, unhindered by emotional turmoil or second guessing. His head tilted ever so slightly, that very act a sure sign of some deepening though before a single, potent word parted his lips. Henry's mate did not ant him anymore?

"Why?"

Tobias' dark gaze shifted upward, meeting Henry's own directly as the other man's words were uttered in a mere whisper. Henry insisted he wanted no one else. Tobias' own features frowned once more, the deviant seeming to silently consider those whispered words.

"The world is....full of girls. Girls....girls....girls.....why does Henry want.....that girl?"

That Henry's mate was not a girl had hardly occurred to the deviant and yet, perhaps such a thing hardly mattered. That question remained the same. What was so special about this mate that Henry wanted no one else?

"Tetra says that....girls are only....good for....two things....anyway. Two is not....a....big number."

Tobias' head nodded sagely- as if such advice was entirely critical. Tetradore, after all, knew everything,of that Tobias was certain.
