To say that the Fae had expected such a find in this envelope. Photographs...And a key on the outside of it...He certainly wasn't thrown off or perplexed by this. But something just didn't sit right in his mind with this. But why even question this? This was clearly an advantage in whatever situation was unfurling.
"Well Braxton, what on Earth did you uncover this time?" He said aloud to himself while he observed Morgan empty the contents. Even he was squinting at the pictures just trying to really understand what he was looking at, but it was definitely as Morgan asked. Did these look like photos someone would take just because, or for the reason of loving their hobby of photography, or their job? Hell no they didn't. These were taken by someone who had a motive of some kind. From looking at the photos, research was needed.
Carefully handling the photos would the Fae tuck them back into the envelope from which they were removed. Handling their container even more delicately as to not bend the photos.
"We certainly stumbled on something..I like where we're going. But just what is the destination we are heading to..." Braxton thought out loud as he turned to Morgan and caught wind of her words and actions. He too heard the sound of keys jingling and locks making noise.
"Damn it. Now of all bloody times? Sod it all." He cursed under his breath, as he did his best to cover up the trail and evidence that someone was here. What really got him was the fact Morgan had an original plan, but she went against it and it caught Braxton off guard. But who was he to complain about?
"I am absolutely not taking chances. We can take risks another time. I'm not about to find out who we're working with until we have to." Braxton said with purpose as he looked around with haste. What would he grab? What caught his eye and what would help him? Ah. Under the desk he looked and there was a thick envelope hiding under the frame. Had to be money, but he swiped it hastily and tucked it in his coat then turned to Morgan.
"Make haste!" He said to her ready to go.
