West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Raven was not pleased to see her friend be harmed by another. As his body was slammed into the brick wall her a savaged snarl escaped as her black lips pulled back to reveal those shiny deadly teeth. After throwing Kat into the dumpster all thoughts of the female hunter were gone. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she managed to peel the leopard-man off the Hunter bringing him safely to the ground. Afraid the boy would go after the Hunter she forced him to stay in his spot ignoring his hisses and growls. This was for his own good and she would be damned to see him get injured. With her attention solely focused now on the Hunter that dangled in the air on the side of the building, a vicious snarl managed to rumble through her chest as salvia began to drop from her opened muzzle. Using her ability to slam the Hunter into the wall roughly. Gone was the girl that seemed so very innocent of causing another harm. Always was she a quiet and kind person hardly wishing to get involved. Yet she was not just a human, she was a supernatural being cursed with the primal mind of a predator, and she was a creature that thrived on her instincts. Tobi was not pack and he was not mate. He was her first friend and with that relationship intact it gave her valid reason to harm anyone that wished to harm him. Ignoring his cries she continued slamming him into the wall, wanting nothing more than the boy to feel much pain, doing everything she possibly could to make sure he would rue the day he injured a Were. The blade that Kat had thrown earlier managed to scrape her side causing the ebony wolf to throw back her head and release a low growl. Without a care in the world she threw the boy into the dumpster allowing him to settle with his tramp of a girl. Ignoring her side for this moment she returned to Tobi changing her form and soothing him. Taking away his pain as he slowly began to calm down.

It was not her intention to make Tobi feel trapped, but she didn't want her spotted feline fiend to go after the male Hunter. She didn't know how, but she knew if Tobi went near that blonde haired boy he would act...oddly. She had never seen that look of pure fear for the safety of another person. He didn't hold that look when Nadya came to her with an awful wound at her side so why Tobi reacted like that to a complete stranger just didn't make any sense. Though she was glad to see whatever feelings he had for the Hunter were completely gone. Wincing slightly as she returned to her feet her arm moved to clutch her other arm, feeling the pain he was supposed to be feeling...that ache slowly going up and down her back. As the two dark hunters remained inside the dumpster bin she lifted her hold on her friend allowing him to roam free. As she offered to continue the fight, this time switching hunters to attack, she shot him an anxious look as he warned her about the actions he wished to take. There was something peculiar and very threatening lingering in the air around Tobias and for once her head lowered, noticing how his tense frame moved towards the trapped Hunters. Predators could only handle threats long enough before something had to be done. Blue-grey eyes watched him wordlessly as he stalked towards the dumpsters arranging the cardboard boxes and trash around. As he shoved the lock on the dumpster and began to set the trash on fire, her fingers began to intertwine together nervously, not knowing exactly what he would be up to now. It was wrong to torture another living creature. Even if they were Hunters it wasn't something she believed in. They should at least be put out of their misery, humanely. Wanting to stop this monstrosity. Quietly she made a move towards him, but felt a sharp pain in her side as she stood next to him. Letting out a soft cry she clutched her side feeling something wet seeping through her fabric. Holding out her hand to see what it was, with the help of the fire glinting in the darkness and her high scent prowess, she noticed it was her blood. Narrowing her eyes all thoughts of wanting to give the Hunters a humane death were gone. Nudging her shoulder into his a wicked smile was thrown his way as her other hand moved around, throwing various other pieces of trash into the fire that surrounded the dumpster. Tonight she would not correct Tobi sometimes it was best to let nature run its course, even if she was a cruel heartless bitch.

It did not occur to the young woman that the Hunters would be able to get out of the dumpster as it continued to burn. Her wound at her side would slowly start to heal as she continued to stand beside him. All thoughts of Syn on fire left her mind as she continued to glare at the dumpster. She was hoping those two would perish and she could return to whatever it was she was doing before. The smoke was far too thick to see the two manage to squeeze out. The flames quite high. What did catch her attention was the sound of a car being started. Puzzled she turned her upper torso around and noticed bright lights suddenly flash on. Panicked she would return into her ebony and grey form allowing her size to increase to that the side of a bear. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she heard the roar of an engine and she responded in the same way with her own mangled snarl. It was not like Raven to be this angry or this defensive. Yet all predators acted this way when their lives and the lives of those they cared about were in danger. Hearing the tired shrill as rubber burned concrete she watched as those blaring white lights moved closer. Seeing Tobi was still standing there she would use her ability and grab him and pull him to the side, away from harm's way. Turning her head around with her teeth barred she tried to grab hold of the speeding car trying to get a grip on it, but for some reason she wasn't able to. Instead the Maserati managed to run into her, with her size and weight the front end was damaged, but it was still able to run. The wolf would fall as the car drove over her, a high pitched yelp could be heard along with the sound of bones being crushed. Lying on her side now, her head would tilt as she noticed two figures running to get into the car, but with one last effort, she managed to slam the blazing dumpster into the high-priced luxury car, allowing the fire to ravage its hunger on the car...that only ran with the help of fuel. A cold voice would ram its way into the Hunters and the Leopard's mind with a heavy warning.

"Run while you can...we'll find you."

Slowly the wolf's eyes began to close as a wave of pain continued to shoot through her. Still lying on the ground a rough snort was given as her teeth clenched together withholding the need to cry out in pain. It was a sign of weakness and it was something she did not wish to show to the Hunters, but more importantly, to Tobias. Grey trimmed ears flickered back and forth as her form began to change. The sound of her bones repairing caused the poor thing to hold back a cry as her mouth opened in a silent scream. Eventually the massive wolf was replaced with the injured curly-haired woman. Slowly she brought her hands to the ground and managed to slowly pry herself up, but her ragged form remained bent and broken...the healing processing slowly. Weary eyes locked onto the leopards' as her bent form did not leave the ground, the sounds of bones still popping back into place, the girl hardly able to continue such an adventurous night. A strained soft voice came out of the young woman as she inquired their next move.

"Can we go home?"

She did her job as a friend. The least he could do was reward her with some help and much...much needed rest.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
