The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon
The past few days had been trying to say the least. No, the past few weeks had been difficult. For whatever reason, whatever guilt her brother felt over what happened back at that terrible place Syn with the vampire Isolt; it had been enough to fracture their pack again. Tetra had taken Tobi off and Nadya had remained behind living with the vampire Isolt, taking over the empty room that used to be her human roommate's. Neither talked nor hung out with each other, content to live their separate lives as best they could. However, Nadya's life became rather complicated a few weeks ago when she made a discovery that had her mind reeling ever since. Tonight though Nadya was determined to find her brother and tell him as she wouldn't be able to hide it much longer. She needed her big brother as even the vague memories of childhood were still there where he looked after her and protected her. She felt safer with him around. Also with the expansion of a pack in this particular way a pack had to be strong and not fractured like it was now.
Nadya remembered Tetra telling her about living at the docks now in some ship. She found the idea rather ludicrous of giving up the comforts of an apartment for a dank ship. Her ebony coat was enveloped by the shadows created by the absence of the moon in its new moon phase, the only meager light coming from the stars and the dim oddly placed light poles near the fishing dock. It really wasn't that hard to find since a large cargo ship wasn't exactly inconspicuous, especially with the faint sounds of raucous that drifted between the buildings at the docking site. Nadya silently padded up to the ship, spying two people walking in through a dark entrance and following their path. She was stopped suddenly by a burly man stepping in front of her at the entrance. "You have to be in human form when you enter." Well that told her this place was it and very familiar with Weres. Nadya was in no mood to deal with him though, her sights only set on getting to her Alpha to her brother. She took only the slightest step back, tilting her weight back on her haunches as she manipulated the pheromones about her until the burly man's gruff exterior softened. "Anything for you." At that she straightened up, brushing against him in a rather house cat manner of mock affection before slinking into the depths of the ship.
It smelled like metal, salt...and the coppery bite of blood inside. The noise grew louder and echoed as the ship opened up all around her to reveal what Tetra and Tobi had been up to. Her golden gaze scanned the arenas where Weres were fighting within and others in human and Were form were hooting and hollering and betting crowding around the cages. A lewd and crude thing of putting Weres against Weres as if they didn't already get a bad enough name for being part animal now they were making a sport out of it. Irritation caused a scoffing sound to escape her throat which was a mood perhaps more so due to her increased hormones. Either way she peeled her gaze away to scan the rest of the surroundings. There were doors along the back wall which were all closed and then a bar of course because what was a betting fight ring without liquor. Two men standing at the base of a staircase were rather out of place causing Nadya to look closer at what it was they appeared to be guarding. They stood in front of a staircase which her gaze followed up to a second story landing that looked to be a viewing deck. As Nadya approached the two men her lips parted, bringing the air in and tasting it with the roof of her mouth, confirming that her brother was somewhere.
Again Nadya was met with opposition when she came to the staircase. "No one but the bosses are allowed up here. Move along." If Nadya had had the capability to raise a brow or swear at them she would have. She raised enough to slash angrily at the one who had spoken to her, long claws shredding the fabric across the front of his pants and the very delicate area that it covered. The man shouted in surprise and pain as the second one made a move to Nadya, whether to grab her or if he had his own power she wasn't sure but her feline reflexes were quicker. Her attention turned to him and he immediately grabbed his head with a shout of pain and dropped to his knees by his bloodied companion. Nadya growled her warning at them, crouching back and leaping gracefully over them onto the steps of the staircase leaving the pair writhing in pain. A few patrons nearby witnessing it all didn't raise an alarm or seem inclined to help them and all the rest were lost in the noise of the fights.
Nadya's long tail lashed about in growing agitation as she ascended the staircase. This place wasn't Syn but it was close enough and angered her that her brother had chosen here instead of to stay as a pack. Her mind reached out seeking that thread that should be her pack. "Tetra..." Her tone wasn't aggressive but certainly had an edge that demanded her brother's attention. His scent was stronger up here which meant she had succeeded in finding him now it was only getting him to show himself and talk to her. She swore her brother could win an award for how much he could brood.
