![]() Oh mercy, will it overcome us Living in such a populated city was becoming a difficult task for the were-anaconda. It was absolutely no rain forest, no jungle, no ... amazon. It was an urban jungle only, filled with rivers of asphalt and towering trees of concrete, gray buildings. The air was suffocating with smog and chemicals that the anaconda couldn't even fathom â€" didn't want to fathom. It didn't taste natural. The cars, the people... The superfluous population felt suffocating, too. Being amidst all of the citizens of Sacrosanct had been slowly prodding ideas into the were's head, suggesting to her that maybe the human side of her really wasn't as dominant as she thought. Maybe it was the reptilian side was dominant, and had lay dormant for far too long. Her evening jaunt across the asphalt rivers of the urban jungle combined with the quickly healed injuries that marred the skin of her upper thighs had awoken some kind of beast that Bethel had worked so hard to keep contained. The anaconda had risen it's head, desperately trying to view the world and react to its harsh exterior. After the experience with the metal death trap that happened to be the car that had conveniently run her over, Bethel had begun to believe maybe it was better to allow the snake to be present more often. Maybe that's exactly how it was supposed to be. The twisted temptation of allowing the reptile to take over the commanding of her body had reminded Bethel that she might not be suited for the kind of life she had originally wanted to lead. Independence, solitude... Those traits weren't suitable, anymore. There were many other species in the city that wanted power at almost any cost, and no longer was the woman willing to be a cost in that equation. Instead, she had decided to follow her lead to Noah's Ark, a reputable were-tramping ground. While the woman truly had no idea what to expect upon her first meeting of the establishment, she had to admit that it was incredibly appealing. Seeking out other weres, learning about the population of this particular city; the introduction seemed like it was necessary, and Bethel was more than obliging. Regardless of who met her at the front of the place, she was determined to have some kind of win under her belt. Little would she know (but much to her delight) that winning in this select location? Physically, it was a possibility. She'd heard of some fights, but had no real idea of what might occur. And even those things she'd heard? They were incredibly vague, but enough to spark more interest than simply meeting other weres. The air smelled like the scent of animals, a near smoothie of scents that were carried on the gentle breeze of the harbor. The ship was daunting with its rustic visual of an abandoned cargo ship, though Bethel wasn't deterred. She had a mild fascination with all things degrading and decrepit, the sights of the ship only giving her impetus to move forward and seek out what happened to be inside the ship. And maybe if she was right about the fighting, she could have a go at it... Bethel Mercy Ayer -- were-anaconda -- played by auree |
