The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was something to be said about long late night walks. They sucked. Nadya was beyond being done with the pregnancy, her swollen belly a nuisance when it came to just daily tasks like putting on her shoes let alone on her wardrobe choice. The act of shifting into her feline form had taken on such pain that Nadya kept to her human form in fear of what the pain would do to the twins. That was only one of the reasons she had kept away from the Ark. Nadya still viewed the Ark as exploiting and making money off shedding blood from their own kind; it was also a large ship, cold and metal and not at all a place she felt would be a comfortable place to raise the twins. Mainly, though, she was avoiding her brother. Nadya only avoided Aiden because she thought he didn't want her around in the first place and was just trying to respect his wishes.
Tonight though Nadya wanted to deliver something to her brother and entered the Ark rather hesitantly. A pregnant woman in the Ark was certainly an odd sight indeed and was probably what caused people to talk. Nadya remained in the shadows by the bar seeing her brother's chair empty up above and quickly scanned the crowd to see where he was. If he was in his office then Nadya didn't think she could drop off what she wanted to. However, the messy mop of hair and dazzling green eyes that shifted in the crowd caught her attention. Nadya's breath hitched in fear when Tetradore stepped into the ring in his turn to fight. It shouldn't have surprised her or worried her but it was her brother after all. After a few moments of the first few blows and abilities whipping around the ring she couldn't watch any longer so left the bar to slip up the stairs and into his office.
It was a bit quieter inside, the steel door and the plush interior of the room doing well to drown out the commotion outside that made her stomach clench. Nadya needed to get in and out before Tetradore returned to his office. The last time she had been in this room though was to tell him she was pregnant. Thus it caused Nadya to hesitate by the door as the memory replayed in her mind. It hurt, feeling that her brother hated her, but she hoped perhaps he would one day show affection to the twins and they would know him as she had as a child. Nadya slowly wandered over to his desk that had paperwork strewn all over it much like it did last time. Briefly she wondered if it was the same papers and perhaps he needed help. Shaking her head Nadya fished into her clasp purse to pull out a piece of paper and set it down on the desk. She had gone back the previous day to that blasted clinic Raven had dragged her to in order to get a check-up ultrasound on how the twins were doing. Apparently they were still tiny for their age but healthy which Nadya was proud of. She had gotten another printout of the twins nuzzled together with each one labeled accordingly Boy and Girl but with the heading of Tetradore this time. The greyscale picture is what she set down on his desk with a little hand written note just above Tetradore reading 'to our uncle'.
Nadya also placed a small toy F-16 fighter jet beside the ultrasound. She had given it to Aiden for his birthday when they were kids, he had liked fast things then too, and had found it in the rubble when she went to visit their home. The other toys she had found she had given to Tobias knowing Aiden wouldn't care about them anymore. Nadya didn't think he would care about the jet either but she still found the need to return it to him as a token. She became lost in her thoughts staring at the jet with her hands resting on her large stomach.
