West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

It wouldn't exactly be a lie for Nadya to tell Tobias to mind what he said because the kittens could hear. In reading through the books they had even suggested playing music to her stomach which in her opinion was beyond absurd but if they believed they could hear it was good enough to teach to Tobias. "Yes, they can hear when in there and they'll hear when they're out. You can't say grown up words when they are around." Nadya was glad that Tobias was happily or at least willingly sidetracked by the array of baby approved toys. They weren't as interaction prone as the toddler section he had been in but the bright colors and different textures seemed to do the trick. She was confident that Tobias would be safer in this department.

Upon Tobias opening up and expressing interest in the stuff around them Nadya relaxed slightly. He was in a relatively good mood and behaving well. "These are called cribs, the kittens sleep in them." Her chocolate gaze remained on Tobias, studying him as he quietly pondered the mobiles before choosing one. "Ok we'll get that one." The gentle smile on her face faltered with a look of shock when Tobi simply popped the rubber toy into his mouth and proceeded to eat it. A delicate hand rose to her mouth not sure whether to scold him or laugh. The decision was made for her when the saleswoman came over to berate the two of them about eating the merchandise. Nadya sighed and quickly waved her away. "Yes yes we'll pay for everything. Add this to the list." She grabbed the slip for the crib and the mobile Tobias chose and handed it to her. With such a pricey list started that saleswoman quieted and huffed off.

While Nadya was dealing with the saleswoman Tobias had once again wandered off back to the toy rack. It was certainly good practice taking him out for when the twins required chasing after. Since he wasn't harming anything she remained where she was, her fingers grazing slightly where one of the twins were fluttering about. Nadya only froze up when a young girl approached Tobias wanting to play. Taking anything Tobias was playing with was hazardous to a person's health. The breath she didn't know she had been holding released in a soft puff when Tobias decided he would share. "Uh...yeah, great." Nadya mumbled to the new voice at her side, glancing over to see an equally as pregnant woman admiring the stranger interacting with her child so nicely. The woman didn't see what Nadya saw, an irate possibly dangerous Were who didn't have much more of an understanding of the world than her own child. "Oh, um, he's not my husband, just a friend helping me pick some things out." It wasn't something she had really thought about when it came to how to explain Tobias to not just the twins but to the outside world. "Excuse me." Nadya hurriedly left the woman to crouch beside Tobias and taking the toy at his request to feel it. "That one is nice too. We'll get two, one for each kitten." She took another off the rack. "Why don't you pick out two more toys and then we can go." Briefly her gaze slid over the girl and the toys they were playing with. "Be nice to the little girl. She's a human." And then as an afterthought. "Or Santa Claus won't bring you toys this Christmas."
