West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There is a light in her eyes that carry a small trace of pride. Beating her opponent and hearing the applause of approval from the patrons allowed the always self-doubtful lupine to start believing that she was capable of doing something well. Never before had she received public ratification and for a moment the fur along her chest puffed out. Obsidian skull lifted upwards as her tail followed swaying side to side freely. Her attention would stray from the audience as she watched her companion force the wolf-fox creature down to the ground. The scent of her blood filled her nose causing her to head over, naturally wanting to investigate a wounded creature. As Jackal began to shove the broom at Tobi her lips pulled back to reveal her teeth as she gave an irritated snarl at the smaller canine. While Tobias began to rub up against her, her head would lower as she nuzzled his face gently, licking some of the manned wolf's blood off his face. It was when the other challengers came into the cage did she stop and take a look at them. Even if she didn't have the pack bond with him she could feel the agitation coming from the leopard as he glared at their opponents. When Tobias asked which one she wanted she was about to make her answer until the alligator charged.

Blinded by the Camel's spit she side stepped away from Tobias shaking her head to rid herself of the spit until she felt the alligator's teeth sink into her left arm. With her leg in his jaws it was no surprise she would come crashing down, eyes widen as she felt her body begin to turnaround. With a sharp cry of pain she struggled to get her arm free, twisting her form so that her back paws slammed into one of his eyes. Each time her back paws slammed into his eye his grip would loosen and as soon as she felt she was free she moved her left leg out of his mouth. Returning to her paws she stifled a whine when her wounded leg's paw made contact with the ground. As the alligator came to charge at her again she would jump to the wide as his jaws snapped quickly jumping on top of his head. While thrashed around underneath her, his jaws snapping she made a soft yelp as she places both front paws on top of his long snout, causing his jaw to close. Using her heavier weight she managed to sit on his head, blinding him. Taking this time she would look for her companion seeing the Camel try to buck him off.

It wasn't long before she slowly started losing control of her opponent. Blue grey eyes filled with terror widen as she leapt off the alligator and proceeded to run in a zig zag manner, her injured leg causing her to be slow. As she neared the end of the cage she turned around and just stood there, her injured leg lifted so as to keep herself from being in pain. Hackles rose as she noticed how the scaly reptile stopped running and simply stared her down. Obsidian hackles, peppered with grey, remained raised as a low growl began to tremble her form. Pointy ears were laced backwards as her eyes shifted towards Tobias and the Camel, the jungle cat managing to hang around the creature's neck causing the beast to fall to the ground. It was the alligator's hiss that forced her to look back at the reptile. Eyeing the opposite side of the cage, her head titled to the side when she noticed how smooth the floor was. Quickly she bolted now on all fours, clenching her teeth as her injured leg's paw landed on the ground. As she ran she noticed how her paws didn't have good traction when she turned, her massive form sliding a bit which caused the lupine to go even faster.

The alligator would have a hard time running after the lupine his feet experiencing the same loss of traction as the wolf, but with his form closer to the floor and his tail acting as a terrible rudder it was no surprise he started to fall and roll onto his back. Making a sharp turn Raven charged for the fallen alligator seeing his vulnerable underside exposed. Her own jaws parted wide as she slammed her teeth into the gator's underside in the vicinity of his throat Moving her form over his, she would stand on top of the reptile as he tried to roll and get her off of him, yet her teeth continued to tear into his throat. Those of the patrons were deafening and for a moment she couldn't hear anyone or anything, her entire focus on tasting his flesh in between her bites and feeling his body start to stop moving. It was the warm powerful spray of water that slammed into her face that caused the she-wolf to stop. Jackal had turned on one of the big water hose to force the girl away from her injured opponent. The camel's spit gone from her muzzle and face, she would turn her neck to one side allowing the warm water to get through her neck fur. Whatever bad scent from the camel spit was on her was washed away. Seeing the alligator get up caused Raven to leap at it again bathing her muzzle and face in his blood before she felt the high water pressure slam into her again causing the injured wolf to limp far away bearing her teeth at Jackal.

While the crowds began to applause and shout her attention was focused only on her leopard companion. Her form would shift back to her regular size content enough to be at this size. Quietly she would limp over to him brushing her bloodstained muzzle against his own face. A very soft whimper was barely audible as her head rested along his shoulder, leaning her injured side into his own for a moment quite content to be close as the adrenaline in her slowly started to settle down. Although Were's were gifted with the ability to heal from their wounds Raven's wound took a much slower time. So, in order to hide this weakness she would gently press Tobias to move keeping herself walking on his side, keeping her injured leg hidden as they exited out of the cage. Usually when the victor comes out the audience would come around and bask in their glory. Yet it would seem Tobias reputation and her being at his side led others to spread far and wide allowing the two to make it to the stairs voicing out their praise to the couple. Once again that feeling of self-pride came back and her head would raise high, but not above Tobias, and her chest would puff out. Turning her gaze to her companion her soft voice gently pressed into his mind as she limped up the stairs.

"I won...for you. Can we do it again when I get better?"

Apparently fighting brought some self-worth and if that was one of the reasons why Tobias always placed himself in the ring she could understand it. Though she wouldn't mind stepping into the cage with her companion every now and then. Fighting and protecting one another was just another strong tethered that circled around the two.
