West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West
Home is where I learned the truth about despair. There's a reason why it was, by definition, hell on earth. Hope. That one day, one of them would look upon me and see not a monster, but the little girl from their memories. It was there, with them, that I learned there can be no true despair without hope.
There are roads in life and then there are roads. I wasn't entirely sure what road I was on at the moment, peering up at the delicate featured vampire with the crimson locks. She seemed the type to take the roads well traveled...so much so that she practically oozed innocence. Where as I on the other hand, took the roads less traveled by. I made my own way in the world. Not that I'd had any other options. But I'm getting off track here with my inner monologue. This girl, this vampire, was the light to my darkness. Where she was soft, I was hard. Where she was delicate, I was rigid. Her ivory skin was creamy and perfect...and I...well... I was olive toned and scarred. My past etched into the very essence I could never escape from. Mu skin. Irreparably marred and damaged in a way that no one could not, not notice. Not that I'd ever been bothered by it...for every mark, scar, burn and visible sign of torment was a reminder of what I had overcome. Of the strength I possessed. Of what I could live through. My body told a story. A tragedy, but a story none the less.

For long moments we simply stare at one another. Though I can still hear the retreating footsteps of the guard. I can feel the pregnant pause lingering between us and I almost wonder if she is waiting for me to speak. To do or say something that will make her feel welcome here. As if her idea to wander into Were territory, without an escort or invitation, was a good idea. My silence lingers heavy and strong, though it's not as if I could assure her, even if I wanted to. Not that I did. Because, lets be honest. It was a dumb thing to do. People were killed for less. I didn't think this vampire girl truly understood just how dangerous a position she had put herself in. Were's by nature are extremely territorial. Let alone the few species that took that extreme to a whole other level. She had been lucky. She might not be next time.

With a muted chuff rattling in my throat, I nudged the leg nearest to me. Twisting my head to the side as to give her direction. A non verbal, this a-way if you will. For a few moments I lingered at her side, weaving around and nudging the girl until we were on the outskirts of the loading bay. Silently, I slipped into the shadows. Eyes closing to harness my energy and begin the transformation back to human. It starts with the tingles. A low thrum, almost like a heartbeat that spreads the entire length of my body. That is closely followed by the oddest sensation of your mind and body splintering from one another. As if suddenly you are at once too much and not enough. That's when the pain starts. The shifting and realigning of bone and sinew. I am fortunate enough, that my shifts are quick and rather painless. Practice I suppose. Then again, that's what happens when you live your life never knowing when you might need to unleash your inner monster. With silent, predatory grace, I stalk from the shadows and lift my violet eyes to hers. A hesitant smile -slash- frown of confusion lingering on my features. I am truly stumped with how to proceed from here. Do I try and converse with this vampire who obviously has a death wish of some kind or do I simply walk away with the knowledge of a job well done? A silent huff parts my lips before I lift a hand to rub my temple. Come on Regan. Think.

Nope. I've got nothing. Staring it is then.
