West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She was unfamiliar with the cold indifferent reaction when it came to presenting someone with a gift. Everything she did for Tobias was met with a pat on the head, or a compliment laced with a critique. Raven was familiar with Tobias and his antics, especially when he received a gift he actually liked. If she had presented this steampunk sculpture to the spotted cat his claws would already be sinking into the metal as he climbed it. Gratitude wasn't something Tobias was capable of. Blue-grey eyes silently studied the facial expression of the green-eyed man. The look of indifference was slightly sore, but she ignored it. As a canine it was instilled in her to thrive on pleasing others. It was an annoying habit, almost like an addiction, and she was finally able to feed this craving. Even though Tetradore gave her such an apathetic thanks it was enough to cause the she-wolf to have a small satisfied smile on her face. She was not surprised to see him not take part in at least trying it out. With a small shrug she stuffed her hands within the front pocket of her hoodie, gripping her fingers tightly as she muttered softly.

"You're welcome."

For a moment she just stood there awkwardly quietly. Raven wasn't quite sure what to do or what else there really was to say. The Ark was still closed down and there was hardly any employees around. It was noon and no one would be around until later that evening. Eyeing the sculpture for a moment she would make a few tentative steps towards it. There were just a few things she did not mention to her Alpha about this gift. There were numerous traps. Being the mate of Tobias she had to think of every which way to trick her companion. Seeing how Tetradore and Tobias were close she was sure the panther would enjoy such a thing. Perhaps 'enjoy' wasn't the proper word, but at least it would be a challenge. At certain locations of the sculpture there were certain parts of metal that had a button underneath it that would cause soap to appear and slide down the metal branch causing it to be hazardous â€" as one would slip. There were a few branches that would 'break' kind of like a trap door that would make the individual fall and land on the branch below. Some branches looked solid, but they were truly hollow, if one individual climbed on top of it they would fall into the branch-like tube and have to roam through and leap to another branch. Even the trunk of this 'cat tree' had some tricks behind it too. She would turn around and attempt to speak in a playful challenging manner.

"If you want to try it you can...I promise I won't say anything...about you getting beat by me."

Tobias liked games and who was to say Tetradore wouldn't either? He seemed fine at the zoo with the armadillos and she heard Tobias speak about the games he and their Alpha played together. Sure it was mostly about fights, but still â€" he knew how to play. It was no surprise that males were creatures that naturally liked challenges and she was sure that a friend of Tobias' would have a liking to games. Looking away from the tom cat she would easily shift to her much more comfortable fur and after circling around the tree for a moment she would leap for the lowest branch and get her way to the top, balancing on it as she moved to get right up underneath the branch above her. With a wag of her tail she would make another leap at the branch, scrambling up with her useless paws managing to make it. But as soon as she stood on it the branch would lower and she would fall to the first branch. Looking back over at him she would give him a wolfish grin.

"Not everything is as it appears. I made sure there were a lot of tricks and traps too."

Of course she couldn't beat a cat at its natural ability to crime. However, she was Tobias mate and she knew what it took to play games.
