West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

For the past few nights she had slowly started to feel the sharp tendrils of that natural unholy feral edge. It had been awhile since she had succumbed to the primal side of her mind. Each time she shifted, there would be small brief moments when her human mind and wolf mind collided and merged together, allowing her to converse with others. Her voice was always gritty and slow, sounding as if the human language was difficult to speak. The only time she could communicate without hindrance was if her shift had just happened and she hadn't been in the form for more than a few hours. Always, she was careful with how long the duration would be once she turned into the form she felt comfortable in. She knew when it had been too long if she felt the gentle waves of humanity start to leave her being replaced with the strong tethered binds of natural desire to act without conscious. It was a struggle, a constant fight that she had suffered silently. She hadn't expressed it to Alexis nor did she bring it up to Tobi. It was something she felt that didn't need to be said or even shown. It was the single reason why her own members within her pack decided it was best if she was locked up. Safer for everyone. The mistreatment and the abuse was purely for entertainment purpose. Who didn't get a high when it came to ordering another around, chasing them away, clawing or biting at them, attacking them with anything you could- knowing full well that your personal tormented toy couldn't do anything to fight back? It was enough to break her and help her push her mind only even farther and deeper into the predatory violent nature when one suffered such a terrible curse. She couldn't hold it in for long, and so, she deiced that for the next few days and nights would allow herself this one chance to become the Monster that assuredly terrified anyone with the thought of just what a true werewolf could do.

The curly-haired woman had spent the past few days and nights far away from any living creature. She had left Alexis a note, explaining that she would be gone for a few days and nights so she should enjoy the house by herself for a change. She didn't bother to leave anything for Tobi. He was in his own pack and I why should he think or have any concern for her whereabouts? During her days and nights trapped within her own dangerous mind she allowed it to take control. Dashing through the outskirts at high speed, slamming herself into the trees, attacking whatever prey she found. It wasn't enough for her primitive mind to appreciate, but it was enough to let the release out and that was all she needed, for the time being. At nights when she heard the calls of her own species, she would move away from them, allowing her ferocious snarls to be the only thing she heard. In the back of her mind she knew there was a reason why she hated those terrible cries, she had heard them that one night, ignored their whines as she decided to take out all the hate, mistreatment, and pain she had suffered from all those years. Just hearing another pack's cry was enough to make her run away wanting nothing more than to numb the pain. Even within this terrible mindset, the desire to be among others was strong. It wasn't natural for a Were to surrender to loneliness, everyone needed someone, at their best and at their worst- and in both scenarios she had no one.

She had left the forest tonight only because the grip of her mind was slowly fading. Her first place to visit was the Warehouse district to test and see if her violent mind was gone, making her safe enough to be around others again. It was not the forest she so loved, but it had its own dark corners that was safe enough for her to wander. Besides, the workmen needed to speak about a terrifying beast other than the spotted feline. Massive grey paws barely made a sound as went paw marks were plastered with her prints and drops of blood beside it. Within her powerful jaws held the two carcasses of badgers. She had remembered that the feline that owed this territory was underfed and she assumed if she gave him food then she could finally rest within the warehouse upon her makeshift bed. Maybe with a full stomach he would leave her alone and allow her to be in peace before she went home. Her grey trimmed ears heard the sound of the violent scuffle taking place in an empty alleyway. She wasn't curious, she had heard men mugging other men and didn't think anything of it. Yet when she lifted her head her cold nose caught the scent that a female was involved. In the back of her mind that feral edge began to come out. That urge that she couldn't quite get rid of was slowly flooding back. Growling softly she turned around sharply and headed for the alleyway, blue-grey eyes narrowed as she heard the frightened screams. There were times when she herself cried out for help and none ever came. Dropping the dead badgers down behind the dumpster she would walk slowly towards the figures that were underneath the dim flickering light. While the men began to pin the girl up against the wall, her mind began to shift as her sleek frame began to increase in size growing two times her height, the size a large jungle cat. That drive to attack only increased as the tendrils of her feral mind began to take hold once more, that need to release was back, making her far more dangerous than before.

From within the shadows of the alleyway, a low snarl almost like a roar could be heard as it bounded off the walls. The dim lighting above the people caught onto her massive figure causing her shadow to only increase even more. Grey trimmed ears were laced backwards as she moved slowly forward, hackles rose as bloodstained lips were pulled back tightly showing razor sharp teeth. The Wicca grey mark on her flank seemed to brighten a bit underneath the poorly lit light. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as another ferocious growl rumbled from her chest. Seeing the males start to yell and leave the girl was not very pleasing. When one attempted to find some sort of weapon, her body slunk low head held high as she ran towards him, pouncing and slamming her jaws around his jugular enjoying the sensation of life slowly fading his body. Her ears were deafened by the screams and shouts from the other men as they decided to leave their pathetic dead comrade within her jaws. Letting him go, her attention was now focused on the, most likely, terrified girl. Those faint tendrils of humanity was attempting to embrace her violent mind. She would move from the dead body and stand in front of the girl, cold blue-grey eyes narrowed as she silently watched the girl not knowing what she was supposed to do or not with this one. Her stance was neutral, her grey blemished tail swaying side to side, but her thick fur remained bristled. Ears were pointed towards the girl, unsure. One thought was running through her head that she might as well kill the girl too, but another thought was tackling that terrible idea, thinking that she should just leave her alone. But we all know which mindset won the last time...who is to say it couldn't happen again?

Oh how unlucky she really was that this creature was the only one to hear her cries.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
