They say the past is what helps define you. If that is true at all then Raven wished she could forget her memories of her childhood. Perhaps then she wouldn't be as timid or distrusting with others. Maybe she wouldn't keep to herself all the time and be a stickler about following rules. Maybe she might be a little flexible and a tiny bit more adventurous. The walls she had built for herself were slowly coming down thanks to Tobias' constant chaotic influence. In no way would she had helped steal anything in her life or take a monster truck for a joy ride. Sure she was terrified during those ordeals, but in the aftermath she felt a bit happier having gone through it. At the Ark she had no interest in joining the fighting ring afraid to put herself in such a dangerous position. But after their first team fight together she felt a bit more confident and more self-aware in what she could do. Yet all that success and small steps of dismantling her wall were dashed away thanks to Frost.
It was not her intentions to leave the Ark. She hadn't stepped paw or foot outside the safety of the cargo ship. Ever since the attack she assumed that Frost would be lurking in the dark alleyways to attack her once again. He had not bothered to acknowledge or respect pack territory and had broken more than one rule that night. She knew she had to venture out of the Ark, eventually, but she wanted to take her time. The pack hunt she was ordered to attend felt far too soon for her comfort and yet she had to obey and she was going to try and take small steps out of the Ark...to get comfortable for the hunt. However, her spotted companion felt that tonight would be the perfect night to get her completely out of the Ark. What better way to get her out than to chase him? Tobias had taken one of her favorite books, knowing he could destroy it very easily, Raven felt she had to rescue her book from his clutches.
The peculiar lupine was running quickly through the dark alleyways following her companions scent. Grey paws silently pounded the uneven payment as she hurriedly followed his invisible trail hoping that he wasn't somewhere yanking the pages of her beloved tome. Grey- trimmed ears pricked forward at all the familiar sounds that went on in the West: the men from the docks loading and unloading various items from the boats, the shouts of laughter from various patrons that slithered into their hidden favored establishments, and the growls or various animal sounds from the Weres that made their way to the Ark. As she moved quickly she noticed a female unaccompanied with a group of peculiar males that were standing underneath a light pole with the light flickering. Concerned for the female she got off her track and walked quietly up towards her noticing as she got closer that the scent was unfamiliar - the wolf not having met a fairy before. Unsure if she would be a threat or not Raven would use the shadows to swirl around her ebony pelt as she came to a halt a few feet away from the female with her head cocked to the side in an inquisitive manner her voice gently prodding into the girls head.
"Why are you here all alone?"
"talks like this"
