Other Information
Vercingetorix was born of Fae parents. They were regarded as basically Gods in the what was once Gaul, encompassing present day France, Luxembourg, Belgium, most of Switzerland, parts of Northern Italy. Though his Monarchy and people were regarded more as counselors and warriors, people would seek them out for guidance, blessings and assistance. He was named after the Gaul warrior Vercingetorix, though the human was eventually conquered and executed by the Romans, Victor has always felt pride and admired the human and studied him, taking inspiration from the man. As time passed, his Monarchy fell apart. His parents and many were killed as Christianity took over and beings of Supernatural or Otherworldly were passed into folklore. He changed his name to Victor to adapt to the times, and has had years to learn many languages which include Latin, English, German, French, Norwegian, Greek and Swedish. He has been everything from a farmer, a solider / general, a senator in ancient Greece, historian and professor.
Most of his Monarchy and even his parents had powers considered darker or used to harm, but Victor was born with the power of Peace Manipulation. He could end arguments, fist fights (and a few times in History, some battles and wars). At around 1234, he had enough and missed his own species and left to join what was Vadris Reign Guaire's Monarchy. He became a teacher and was given the task of training the young Prince and his companion Lyrica Guaire and being Vadris' bodyguard / guardian. Even to this day, he would die for his Prince and sees the two has almost like his own children.
Only other Fae know his real name (Vercingetorix). His Monarchy did not believe or have last names, so when he created his "human" name, he simply looked through History books and picked 3 names he liked: Victor Carver Hurst.
