Other Information
At the young age of sixteen, Ivy had met a handsome, albeit a little older, man. He had swooned her, taking her to the theaters and treating her unlike any boy had before. He went by the name of Neal, though today she doubts that could have been his real name. One night, around 3 A.M., Neal appeared unexpectedly at her bedroom window with a handful of others and kidnapped her. The next week was traumatizing for Ivy, though the kidnappers hardly treated her badly until the seventh day. She doesn't remember much of it, just an overwhelming sense of fear as the guy she thought she had loved loomed over her and ritualistically slit her throat. One may image the confusion Ivy had felt after she woke up once more, only then had her kidnappers revealed their true identity and her new one: fairies. From there, Ivy knew she could never see her family or friends again, but she also knew she could never forgive those who took her from her old life. Now she lives tucked away in an apartment with two other roommates and works as a barista at a small cafe.
Ivy desires a care-free life, though has yet to find anyone worth sharing that life with. Her trust has been broken before, she vowed it never would again. However, her curiosity often gets the best of her and she wants to travel and meet people of all sorts. Deep down, she craves a strong relationship, whether as lovers, friends, or even a parental figure of a sort. Never would she admit it, though, as she sticks to one night stands and simply not opening up easily.
Her power as plant manipulation allows Ivy to grow, decay, contort, and move any plant she'd like as long as she knows generally where it is and is rather close to it. This comes with a price, though, as larger plants near her being chopped down or injured to some degree will cause pains and discomfort in her gut. This applies to live trees and the like, so things such as eating a salad or burning firewood would not phase her physically.
