After reading your latest postie, I had a small idea I thought I'd offer you as a possible general direction.

You'd mentioned the possibility of a romance without sexy times when we were first talking anddd Darien's fear of disappointing Sebby gave me the idea of, if you wanted to go this route, Seb could kind of discover Darien's heart problem mid or beginning sexy times and choose not to feed from him like he normally would for fear of you know...his heart like...doing something weird or something?

Alternatively, we can just stick with le sexy times and just organically see what happens to the pair after that in subsequential threads too! It's totally up to you :-)
