its up to you if you want him to have met one of my characters in the past. Kat isn't an ancient hunter by any means but she has been working with the council for a long time and traveling a lot so it's not too far fetched to say she's met him in her travels. She tries to stay ethical in her kills so maybe she didn't fully agree with his methods but she also might be a little intimidated by him, but of course she's too proud to show it.

Troy is pretty ancient so if he's ever come across fairies, they could have met. Troy works for the council behind closed doors so only a secret elite know how to contact him. With William being older, he could easily have picked up on this knowledge and found out Troy was in town. Troy is also bisexual and doesn't have a bias against anything but vampires so if you need more romance drama, I'm okay with saying they had a fling or even something deeper in the past. I'll leave that up to you because I am literally up for anything, lol.
