She let Marek and the court think he had broken her and she started playing politics behind his back. When they assumed the throne, they rule together for a while until she got her vengeance. She manipulated him in to making moves she wanted him to. All the while, she frames him for treason. She had him executed after he begged her for his life. She is called The Queen of Thorns because she his head on a spike in the castle gardens in a rose bush that failed to produce any roses. By then, she had the love of the people and she ruled alone for over 100 years before she passed the throne to her daughter, Ardra. She came to Sacro to find her tein sister, Phaedra. She is also planning to create a hotel as a front for her power grabs within the city. She wants her power base back.
