That just marking threads as 'open' would be a good idea and not using the word open as part of a post title unless the thread is, in fact, open for anyone to post to should be easy enough to do :)

In other words I am willing to forgo the use of the word 'open' unless the thread is open for anyone to post to and let the thread search thingy above find it that way and list it above on the grounds of it being there for anyone to reply to. It is easy enough to do and probably a bit less work for you! Though people are totally free to disagree with me and go the other way of course haha XD
