Raven is sweet and innocent! She saw Serafina in trouble and being harmed which caused her to be very angry and upset. Her duties as familiar, plus her old pain if being harmed and seeing some else get harmed, in addition to a she-wolf protecting what is 'hers' she HAD to attack him...and he attacked her thus e had to die.
