Aiden Tetradore Slowly, the panther's cranium shifted back towards the pair, his emerald eyes regarding them intensely as Raven's voice again reached out to flitter through his head. Despite the time at which he had actively pursued both females for his decrepit pack, Tetradore was surprisingly uncelebratory. Instead, he merely sat there, watching them carefully for a moment as if contemplating the words she spoke. Finally, his head nodded ever so firmly, "I am glad to have you both." He commented simply, almost sensing the hesitation and anxiety that existed in the air between them. He suspected there was something more rather then their decision to finally join the pack. Tetradore's gaze shifted as the ebony tiger shifted forward, flinching ever so slightly beneath her genteel touch. His wound had wholly been heeled by the small canine friend Raven had brought with her. The blood had stopped, the hole closing to leave but the smallest of scars - one that would soon disappear all together in the next few days. The area was sore to the touch, however, and if the weather was particularly bad he still felt a steady throb of pain. It was diminishing with each passing day and soon it too would be nothing more then a memory thanks to his species unique ability to heal far better then their mortal counter parts. "It aches at times, but it is well." Her offered his fellow feline in an attempt to reassure her. In truth he hardly regretted the decision to save her from the arrow at all. He preferred to take the bolt for her over the sheer thought of seeing her in the same position that he had been in. Tetradore watched as the feline retreated, noting the fashion at which she rubbed up against the side of the peculiar colored wolverine. It seemed as if Raven had quite the array of friends. He hadn't realized how close the two women had become in the months that had passed since their discovery of the ebony tiger. Perhaps he had merely been out of touch with the world outside of his Ark. Never the less, the male remained perfectly still, his vibrant gaze landing upon Raven in an intense fashion. Clearly, if Regan was lending the girl her support, there was something else to still be said. Her admittance of this "feral" state hardly ruffled the apathetic man but before Tetradore had even the chance to reply, he felt the familiar tug of her presence against his mind, this time pressing pictures into it his brain in the same fashion that had occurred only once before. His muscles unconsciously tensed, having connected this form of communication with unpleasant and unwanted discoveries. What he saw, however, had little to do with him and vastly more to do with her. He was silent, merely observing those things she wished for him to see before those memories too began to collide with another one - those of Regan's. The shift from lupine to tigeress was abrupt, almost throwing him off track for a moment as his attention resifted to those few that bled in from the females. Unlike them, however, Tetradore kept a tight reign upon his own memories of torture and agony. They were memories that neither Nadya nor Tobias knew of him, parts he kept locked away so deep that even this hardly stirred the lock upon that mental door. He heard the tiger's roar as she ripped herself from the bleed effect at almost the same moment that Raven attempted to shake her own memories from the forefront of her brain. The male watched as slowly, their pained gaze shifted back towards him, as if they were afraid to address the truth of what their past had been. It was well enough for him, however, as he was more then able to ignore it if it was what they wished of him. He cleared his throat ever so slightly, attempting to think back upon the conversation they had been having prior to their walk down memory lane. "Becoming feral..." He started, choosing his words with care if only because he knew all too well the weight of fear the rested upon the girl at the moment. "....is no different then Tobias' normal, every day state. I see no reason that it would be an issue." After all, even feral wolves, even those without that human locked in side still held their ranks within their packs, still listened when brute power forced them too. He had been forced before to ensure his rank against his own beta, Tetradore doubted that Raven would be nearly of an issue. "As for you..." He started again, his emerald gaze switching to the ebony tiger. Slowly, the panther rose to all fours, his muscles rippling under his skin as he moved across the small distance separating the duo. He paused at her side, pressing his weight firmly upon her. It was a part of the whole ritual - the submission. He'd already previously forced Raven on her spine, belly up months prior. Despite his insistence, Tetradore was nothing but gentle. It was her choice and was hardly something he would force her into. It was about trust and, quite frankly, he wanted nothing more then to deserve and earn her trust. "Talks like this." |
