History: Cole was born and raised in a small town in Montana. His father was in the Vietnam War, so naturally he was stern and often cruel to Cole, especially when he found Cole one day kissing another boy. His mother died of cancer when he was 10, his father remarrying twice thereafter. At the age of 18, Cole left home with nothing but $40 and the clothes on his back. He fell in and out of relationships (both male and female), taking odd jobs here and there, crashing on friend's couches or boyfriends/girlfriends until something or someone would make him have to move again. This was mainly due to a dark secret. Cole had murdered a young man, and liked it, and got away with the murder. At the age of 21, he met Carson at the Garden when she was just a janitor. He instantly felt a strong attraction to her, even in her young age, but fearing rejection and stigma, he left town. Several years later, after a drug and drinking induced binge, Cole found himself in debt to three witches. When he wasn't able to pay up, they strung him up a tree, chanting words he couldn't understand. He nearly died if it hadn't been for Rowan, who slayed the witches and saved Cole by turning him into a Hunter. Something about the transformation magnified his violent aspects and after spending only a year with Rowan, being trained and taught, he snapped and murdered his mentor. He returned to Sacrosanct and found Carson (now grown and no longer just a janitor) performing. A romantic relationship was started, and for 5 years they have dated on and off. Now that Carson owns the Garden, Cole is a Bouncer there. He has in no way stopped hunting, or killing, and often uses the Garden as bait. The total number of lives he has taken is only known to him.

Personality: Cole was always naturally violent, but the hanging and turning only seemed to make his outbursts and personality worse. He is impulsive. He is obsessive, mean and cold. He shows signs of being a Sociopath. He's charming and can be a contradiction; one moment he's a gentlemen and polite while the next moment he's beating up a person (man or woman). He's rebellious and likes to fight. He enjoys being in control and making people hurt and beg.

Notables: Cole is, by definition, a serial killer. He hunts not just the supernatural, but also sometimes a human just to fill his bloodlust. He is known as The Hangman for his trademark of choking and/or asphyxiating his victims. Of course, that is only after he's done torturing them.
