The bed creaked with the added weight as he shifted his legs around and rested on his side in the blacked out room. Despite the darkness he could see quite well, the faint shine that emitted from Yejide was illuminating the white down comforter and the rest of the furniture with an ethereal glow. Then again she wasn't of this earth, so no surprise there. Ezra watched her for a moment, studying his sister's face while she slept. She seemed more peaceful than she had been, said she connected with an old friend, plus with him here she wasn't looking over her shoulder as often. With a finger he reached out and poked at her forehead, the light emitting from her body flickering slightly as she stirred. Giving a crinkle of her nose she didn't even open her eyes, "the sun has barely been up..." the sleepiness that engulfed her voice was evident, she rolled away from him and of course Ezra scooted forward.
"But I'm so bored." Propping himself up on one elbow and taking a strand of her darkly dyed hair in his hands he made a disapproving sound, "you look better blonde." As per usual the baby of the family had to voice his own opinion. Yejide swatted at his hand, "go away, Ezra, go explore or something." Her voice became muffled as she buried her face into a pillow, and with an exasperated sigh Ezra rolled onto his back and stared at her ceiling.
