The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
There was no denying that Sebastian was used to a certain sort of response to his presence. Not initially, of course, though very few regarded the foreigner with such blatant disdain. Still, he was generally afforded a certain level of nicity, his own affinity easily turning that general politeness into something more until the man was tumbling through the sheets with someone whom he hadn't known but ten minutes prior. He never really thought of what had happened afterwards. Well - that wasn't entirely true. He did, he just didn't necessarily care. He suspect a good portion of them woke up the next morning not remembering at all. Another part of them were likely embarrassed they had done such a thing and never mentioned it again. And some others had surely sought him out once more - enjoying their experience. But never had his tampering with emotions gone so terribly wrong as it did the moment he coaxed the Dark Hunter to just hate him a little less. He wasn't even trying really to get in bed with her, the thought had seemed entirely wrong to the vampire's morals - what morals he did have. Still, his gaze watched the woman with noteable astonishment as she stood up abruptly, and briefly he considered the possibility that maybe she was going to stake him after all. What he didn't expect, however, was the way in which she rushed abruptly out of the room or the looks that were all turned in his direction immediately after.
It was only a moment under the weight of those stares at that saw Sebastian excuse himself to too leave the large room, letting the speed dating go on without him. The night air was almost refreshing to him compared to the situation that he was only moments ago within - attempting to verbally fight for his life. And yet, despite that, something saw him pause. The huntress was hardly entirely out of his eye sight, the vampire having left but moments after her and yet, regardless of everything, Sebastian found himself stepping back within her direction. He hardly got closed to her, however, and certainly didn't use his affinity to soothe her again. Instead, Sebastian merely asked one simple question, his voice echoing over the spring breeze. "Why do you really hate me?" He inquired, his bright blue eyes steadfast upon her. It wasn't just because he was a vampire or because she had some misconstrued conception of his relationship with death and his victims. No. There was something else, Sebastian just wasn't sure what it was - much less why it mattered to him so much. After all, he had been hated before in the past so why was it that her reaction would prompt him to flirt with his own annihilation yet again?
