East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It was certainly true that the young witch had found herself having very, very little respect for the Hunter that had barged into her shop. The brunette girl found him to be more of an annoyance than an actual threat. After all, he'd had plenty of opportunities to hurt her and had chosen not to, instead he worked with all these utterly ridiculous warnings that held very little meaning to her. No, a real Hunter would have shut her down on the spot, not toyed with her. It is the notion that she may have been wanting to seduce others to be a witch like herself that caused the snort of laughter to leave her lips, the girl leaning her head back as she allowed herself to - well - cackle at him. It was only when she got her laugh under control to be nearly a few bursts of snickers did she shake her head, moving towards him. Her hand against him clearly made him uncomfortable, but that was half the fun. "If you're worried about the Dark Side, babe, you should probably spend a little bit less time watching Star Wars. As for me seducing humans, you can trust that I have very little intention of doing that. It's not just Hunters I hate, I promise. I sell to pay my bills. Even witches have to eat, you know."

It was too easy to toy with him in return. She was so well aware of the disgust that he felt towards her, and it was easy enough to manipulate that into something that amused her. Still, it remained remarkably clear that the words she offered him struck some kind of cord within him. But still, it had to be true, didn't it? Either he was a terrible Hunter, or he had a bit of a soft spot for witches. The audible snap of his jaw caused a smirk to work its way onto the girl's features. "What's the problem, dear? Cat got your tongue?" I think I might have a potion around here that could get you to talk." It is a lie, of course, though the amusement she was gathering from it gave her enough of a laugh. Ah, that very softness towards her very species would certainly be exploited by the young witch.

The shove of her arm away caused the girl to laugh, her arms crossing against her chest as she continued to make light of his warnings. She didn't believe he would hurt her. His own weakness for her species meant that she could likely get away with far more than she should. She could sense his very frustration and annoyance towards her. She couldn't help but be amused by it, even at his final warning that she wasn't listening. As such, she hardly suspected the wave of his power to come crashing into her. Being rather thrown towards the ceiling knocked the breath out of her, the laugh that had been about to leave her lips cut abruptly short. Her body ached immediately as she collided with the ceiling. Instinctively, she suspected that she would come crashing back down to the ground. Instead, a rather frustrated grunt came from the woman as she remained pinned, unable to move a muscle, against the ceiling.

The fact that the man simply sat at her table and flipped through a catalogue only made the matter worse. The fucking... that... As it was, there didn't seem to be enough words in the English language that would describe the man in front of her and the hatred that seemed to flow towards Elanora's veins. The woman opened her mouth to retort his sudden comment on when she could come down when he flicked his wrist and her body moved to hang entirely upside down. Against her better judgment, a nervous yelp was thrust from her lips. She struggled, attempting to push herself to a more upright position - an attempt that remained entirely pointless.

"You fucking... I..." Elanora remained mostly speechless to the sudden assault, refusing to acknowledge the sorry he seemed to demand. If she could reach him, she was sure she would have kicked him. As such, the woman merely crossed her arms across her chest - both in an attempt to show her defiance and to keep her shirt from being victim to gravity and expose herself further.

It was only after several long minutes of hanging did the girl's resilience seem to be fleeting. The blood that seemed to pool in her head had caused her head to pound. The pressure in her head seemed exhausting. Still, she held out as long as she could before the girl practically growled out the apology. "Okay, fuck. Fuck. I'm sorry. Let me down, you inconsiderate asshat."
