The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

If you play, you play for keeps She couldn't help herself, so strong was her intrigue, yet when his fingers twitched beneath her hand she quickly drew it back. Heat suffused to her cheeks, trailing liquid fire down her neck. What was she thnking?! Yet she did not draw her eye away as he wiggled his fingers save to risk a glance to the chocolaty depths of his own before back to his hand. Only to be drawn back to his eyes when the exhale is given, eye brow cocking at the shrug. He was so cool, so indifferent, and that only made her want to get to know him more. "Well then, are any of those drunks hot?" Lips twist into a smirk as she regards him, her eyes twinkling with humor. "Can I be the first hawt sober person? Can I? Can I?" Her laughter is obvious within her words as she all but bounces in her seat with a childlike joy. She liked this, whatever this was. Being daring and sharing time with a complete stranger. This man did not know her from adam or eve yet he was indulging her and she felt quite safe to be carefree without risk of losing her job for immaturity...or judgment. It was curious how much stress one was unwitting under until the moment they wasn't. "I should meet this Grant for my first tattoo when I am no longer working. Hmmm, do you smoke these? Is there any meaning to the rest of them? Do you have more?" Suddenly daring again; might be because he didn't melt into a roaring spitting beast because of her faux pas, she reaches back out. The pad of her fingers tracing the letters again before rising to those higher up, lifting slightly out of her seat in order to reach. He wasn't a stranger any longer, not in her mind at least...no he was now an associate. So she was immensely pleased when he showed her a true smile, something that she rewarded with another beam, yet this one was softer. "Goodness NO! Any slimmer and I will be a walking toothpick!" She gestures dramatically to herself, plopping back down into her seat. She hated that she had to work so hard to keep up her body. She longed to have the curves of her youth back, to fill out her hips and to be able to eat whatever she wanted. It was a pipe dream, but it was her dream and she was sticking to it. "Yes you need a proper education in all the things female. Besides black is so dark and moody, it has its uses but I do think that I am more a bright color kind of gal, don't you think?" She strikes a silly pose, framing her face with her hands, before giggling yet again as she relaxes against the booth. A moment passes before he snorts, reclining much like her, yet her eye is drawn to the way his muscles pop when he crosses his arms. A warm prickling sensation crosses the bridge of her nose and she quickly adverts her eye, she was NOT one of those girls...right? "Is that so? Then if I go out to one of these fine stores and purchase us matching costumes you will wear it this Friday night? We shall stalk the park together and see how many laughs we get!" She leans forward slightly, eyes aglow with the challenge. What would he do? I Don't Believe In Magic BUT I Believe In YOU |
