The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I've always been a selfless lover but nothing compares to what I have with Isolt. I would give everything the world over for her, including my own life and that's saying something. While I believed that I loved Katherine, I know that was just lust lying to me in the end. I've always been a survivor above everything else but when it comes to Isolt, I am blinded to my own needs and see only hers.
I know that it will take a while for me to be fully forgiven for leaving her like I did, but I'd say we made a good dent in catching up, at least physically. At least she knows now that what I did, I did only for her. I may not share as much of her past as others, for example, Tetris is whatever the hell his name is, but I'll be damned if I don't make her my future. I have never believed in forever before Isolt. I never believed if anything more than taking it day by day. Commitment has never been my strong suit, but all that goes down the drain when she's involved. I fell hard and fast for the redhead and I don't see myself coming up for air anytime soon.
The kiss is like an electric shock through my core, her vigor matching mine every step of the way. The nibble on my bottom lip pulls a growl from my lips as I raise a brow. "You looking for round two, baby? You're pushing all the right buttons." I chuckle softly to let her know I'm joking, at least mostly. She takes my offered hand, leaning against my chest and I run my fingers through her hair slowly, savoring every touch of red silk. I push my nose against her head, closing my eyes as I inhale a deep breath, enjoying the smell of her. I hear her stuttering and I smirk, another chuckle falling from my lips at her words. "Oh come now, love. I look forward to watching you squirm while you go over the game plan with the personnel. Don't take that away from me." I lean back to give her a teasing grin.
As she picks up my shirt, I watch in puzzlement, about to say I have plenty when the shirt suddenly mends itself right there in her hands. My brows rise as I reach out to gently take the shirt. "I'm impressed. When did you learn how to sew without a sewing machine?" My face softens at her question, my hand reaching up to brush against her cheek. "I'm afraid so. But not to worry, darling. I'll be right here with you."
