The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Scarlett Trivale
So try to love me
And i'll try to save you
Scarlett was an exceptional worker no matter the task given to her. She had the personality that allowed her to be a strong leader or a good follower, whatever was required of her in the situation. Her patience coupled with her excellent listening and people skills would surely be put to the test, she was confident in herself and optimistic that everything would do well in the end. Of course there would be a few bumps in the road, there always were, but if there was one thing Scarlett was it was resilient. She had already been through so much in her life, at such a young age as well, and each time she had gotten knocked down she got back up. No matter what happened to her she would always get back up, she was too stubborn for that.
She could see and hear the surprise and confusion that Nadya held over the fact that Scarlett, despite her age, had never drank any alcohol. She rolled her wolf shoulders in a shrug and shook her head. "I'm not against it, i've just never had the reason or desire to. I grew up in a small, rural town so there was never any chance nor did I have any friends to go out with. I'm still working on that last part," she explained, offering a little insight to her past as well. It was sad, especially with how bubbly and friendly she is, that she really had no friends; part of her was hoping Nadya would soon be considered her friend, more than just acquaintances. But these were problems for different days, she had to focus on her new job and all of the challenges that would come with it.
The wolf listened with perked ears as Nadya explained that she was short on staff and thus Scarlett would be working the floor alone with a single bartender. It would certainly be daunting, to take on the full floor on her own, and perhaps that was why so many had taken off. But Scarlett knew if she wanted to change, to face the world and carve out her life she couldn't run from these opportunities anymore. "I'm tired of running from things. I will stick around," she said, and there was determination in her voice. She'd already run from meeting Nadya's brother, and run from her old home after the death of her grandparents, she was tired of running from things that could help her or that upset her. This is where her life was going to be, she'd already decided a long time ago when decided which college she wanted to go to. The city was a sanctuary for the supernatural and her best shot at fitting in, discovering herself, and carving out a future in.
Green eyes are entranced by the dancers and the way they move. The wolf had never seen such dancing in person before, in movies and on tv but not in person. They were so confident with their bodies, perhaps there was a tiny seed of jealousy in Scarlett hidden by her enthusiasm. "I wouldn't want to get in their way. If anything comes up i'll be sure to come find you," she said, but then she stopped and looked over to Nadya. "You dance here too? Oh this is something I am most excited to see," she said with light laughter, doing another little happy toe dance; the wolf was bundles of energy and enthusiasm. If these girls were good at dancing, she could only imagine how good the owner was. She might have to remind herself to not get caught up watching and do her job.
But then Nadya hit Scarlett with something that could become a problem: wardrobe. The young girl didn't dress poorly but she never really concerned herself with looking nice all the time, she had no real reason to. Most of her clothes was cute, but designed for comfort and not really for a place like this. "I may need to go update my wardrobe a little bit, atleast add more to it anyway" she admitted with ears folding back slightly. She was sure she could throw together something good enough, but she didn't have enough for multiple days. Her ears perked though when an idea came to mind and she tilted her head curiously at Nadya. "I have an idea actually, if you're not opposed or busy, maybe you could come shopping with me? You could give me some advice and it would be an oppurtunity to see me human and get to know each other better," she threw the idea out there, not sure if Nadya would accept it because didn't want to or was too busy for something like this. But it could help build a friendship between the two while helping Scarlett get some more clothes.
