East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Amelia smiled down at the young woman, wishing she would just accept her help. Amelia wanted so badly to help the woman. It would bring Amelia so much pleasure to simply give this young woman an umbrella. It might not seem like much to most people, but it was the least Amelia could do. Unlike a lot of people in this world, Amelia had a kind soul, one that wanted nothing more than to help everyone in whatever way she could manage. This was one way she could help, and she wasn't about to take no for an answer. "You aren't an inconvenience. Everyone deserved to be helped every now and then. You seemed like you needed it, even if you don't believe so yourself." Her words were soft and sweet, trying to show the woman that she was being genuine. It seemed like more often than not, people just assumed vampires were blood-sucking murderers and incapable of good deeds. Amelia was out to prove people wrong. There were good vampires out there and she was one of them.

Amelia introduced herself, hoping to make the young woman feel a little more comfortable around her. She seemed genuinely pleased with the introduction and offered one of her own. Scarlett. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Scarlett." Amelia looked down at Scarlett's hand when she extended it to shake Amelia's hand. The blush that crept over her cheeks was adorable. However, she didn't comment on it because the conversation as already flowing over to a new topic: her being a vampire. Scarlett seemed capable enough to connect the dots and honestly, Amelia had figured she would no longer wish to engage in conversation with her after learning that she was a vampire.

However, she was pleasantly surprised when she still acted interested. She wasn't scared, calling for help, etc. She offered a smile, telling Amelia that she would smell like a wet dog if she came too close. Amelia smiled. A were. Amelia hadn't met too many of this particular species. While most never thought a were and a vampire could be friends, Amelia was dead set on showing the world that vampires could befriend anyone who wanted. "Nothing a little towel and air freshener can't fix." Amelia gave a small chuckle. "I certainly don't mind. Come into my car. It's warm and dry. I can take you wherever you want to go." Amelia didn't mean to sound creepy again. Poor thing just wanted to help.
