The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.

It's extremely intriguing to me that a fairy queen is choosing to approach a vampire about diplomacy. You would think she would at least have asked Isolt to meet her on her own turf so she felt more safe. This is almost clear suicide, walking into a bar of rowdy vampires, already losing a little self control through alcohol then you add the smell of the sweetest blood to the mix and don't expect there to be drama? I probably need to get her out of the pub and into the office as quickly as possible but for now, I'm enjoying watching her squirm way too much.
It's completely natural to smell the fear in her blood when she looks at me. I don't even have my fangs extended but she must have some instinct or bad memory of my kind to make that quick look in her eyes before she covers it back up with poise and grace. A queen, but not a queen without caution. I like her already.
I like her even more when she proves that she also has a sharp tongue to go along with the looks. Her sudden look of boredom throws me off, one brow rising at her question before I grin but bow my head in surrender. "You're right, where are my manners? I apologize, your majesty. I'm Damon." I reach for her hand gently, brushing my lips across the back of it and bowing like a gentleman before I release her hand back to her and look up with a charming smirk.
The surprise flashing in her eyes when I mention Isolt as my future wife is amusing in itself. There she goes stammering again. I shake my head. "With all due respect, you can stop tripping over yourself, fairy queen. She is the leader of the coven, not me. And she does a damn fine job, if I do say so myself. You owe me nothing more than your name." My steel gray eyes twinkle. And then she gives me just that. Samantha. The familiarty is not lost on me. So this is the girl Edie was talking about, the girlfriend of a certain panther. I tilt my head a little, taking her in anew. She is a pretty little thing. Does the red hair have a meaning? Could he be comparing her to the vampire he didn't make a move on first? The thought irks me a little but I let it go. I certainly won't hold it against the fairy.
I continue to listen as she stumbles on with her words before I step to the side and wave my arm for her to walk with me. "This is right before the busiest time of the business day. Night, that is. You'll probably be better off talking in the office and that's most likely where she is anyway so why don't I just take you there, hm?" I wait for her response before heading up the stairs to the office, wondering if Isolt is still flustered every time she looks at that office desk and thinks about what happened there. The thought alone makes me smirk as I open the door and step aside, holding it open for her. "Queens first."
