The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I'm more alive than I've ever been
Isolt knows well of the stubborness, the willfullness, of her companion. She knows, without the barest shard of doubt, that she will be met with resistance in her quest to see him rested... to see him revived, if only just. But here and now, in this arena, she proves the more stalwart force of the pair, frank and unapologetic in her rebuttal and refusal of his attempts to see her distracted from what she wills. He had born so much in the past twenty-four hours that it is a marvel in itself that he had found it plausible to come here; he had battled, bled, killed, and buried a past the ghosts of which would, undoubtedly, still go on haunting the pair beyond tonight. He had born so much... and his body had grown weary from it. There was no missing the indicators of exhaustion that marred his handsome face, foreign lines that told tale of his restless and his need for reprieve, shadows where there had previously been none.
It is for this reason that Isolt ushers him into Red's depths and into the private suite only previously utilized by herself and Damon, upon occasion. He required solitude now more than ever before. He required reprieve from the pressures, expectations, and responsibilities of leadership and of his pack. He required asylum from the learing eyes of the populace, an oasis amongst the metropolitan chaos of Sacrosanct. These things, all of them, would have to wait, for he must now care for himself in the same manner and to the same measure that he cared for so many others. Tetradore had been her knight in shining armor more times than she cared to admit, and now Isolt gladly takes from his head this weighty, cumbersome crown. She would be his knight in whatever way he might allow her, begrudging though his surrender undoubtedly was.
The auburn-haired woman means to leave her companion then, perhaps to distract herself with the kitchen's prepartion for a meal he was so obviously in need of; however, surprise suggests itself upon her upturned features at his hesitation and subsequent request. Isolt cannot deny the manner in which her stilled heart seems to flutter at his inquiry, though it is difficult to discern precisely why. "Of course," she offers with a slight nodding of her fire-crowned head before ushering him gently to the turned down comfort of the bed. After a moment of silent, internal consideration does Isolt situate herself beneath the duvet to face her companion. She knows well of sleep's cruel and ghastly story-telling for it has haunted more than a single rest of her own. Risque, it seemed, would survive in their nightmares for a time; living, as she had before, through their terror, through their agony. It is with this knowledge that Isolt glasps one of Tetradore's hands gently within her own, her thumb traveling a smooth and repeated line over his tanned skin. "It's going to be okay, Tet. I'm right here."
