The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
Usually the Macedonian man preferred to keep to himself, which perhaps made it unusual that he should then decide to bring to life a cafe - a line of work which revolved around customer service. However, the conquerer had discovered that he was quite the coffee artisan and, quite frankly, he needed something to do with his time if he was going to abandon the sword he had wielded so effectively for so very long. It was the rumor of rogue witches that had coaxed the man beyond his usually silent exterior, his inquiry on the warlock's relationship with the female coming out entirely casual, even though he knew it was fully going to reveal that his less then mortal existence. Alexander didn't care though, confident enough within his abilities should some foolish supernatural decide that the hunter was, for some reason, worth taking on. His blue-green gaze landed intently upon the fellow in front of him, his stare steadfast as he observed the small change in the man's demeanor. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at the warlock's comment though Alexander kept his silence. He hadn't considered weather or not the female was his 'type'. In fact, he hadn't even cast a thought on weather or not the girl was lovely - centuries of loosing lovers had certainly made it difficult to think of others in such an intimate fashion.
A soft sigh crossed his masculine lips as the fellow's voice shifted, the careful grin hardly spurring a returning simper of Alexander's own. "You were never much of a threat before." He commented back bitterly, whatever vague prick of curiosity he had was solved, leaving the hunter hardly interested in the warlock any more then he might have been with any of his other customers. Instead, he turned back towards the machine beside him, taking a wet washcloth to wipe down the intricacies as he did after every finished beverage. He was acutely aware to the female in question stepping back into his facility, just as he was apprehensive of all the otherworldly that entered his domain. Usually, he would merely observe them and their actions, letting them come and go without a word spoken and most were none the wiser of just what he was. Her feminine voice pulled his attention back towards the counter, his vibrant eyes shifting towards the empty cup within her hand and the offered money from her companion. Either the warlock had been deceiving him, or Alexander had some prolific matchmaking aptitude he had otherwise been unaware of.
He paused for a moment, his eyes shifting between the two but it was soon fleeting as he took the offered cash, placing it within the registry. After all, he certainly wasn't one to turn down income for his establishment. Briefly, he turned his back upon them, setting about with the same fluid movements to craft the beverages she had requested. It hardly took more then a few minutes before he had returned to the two, presenting her with her request before offering the tiniest glimpses of sincerity. "Have a good day."
