The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
Of course the other would be just as dumbfounded, aye? He gives a huff of a chuckle, entertained by the bewilderment in the man's matching eyes. It was insanity to watch yourself process and then react to things. And perhaps Magnus was in a state of shock; not wanting to believe that what he sees is real. The other stares back at him before finally becoming uneasy, crossing his arms and cocking his brow - Magnus could assume what be coming in the nearest future. His twin steps forward, into the strike that the assassin anticipated and moments later, bone shook bone.
He could have stopped him, stepped out of the way.
But he knew exactly why he did it.
And it stung, ached and pounded all at the same time. Eyes flicker over the brick, as his head was rocked to the side. His mind is consumed in a clusterfuck of emotion, visions and an unexplained burn. Brought on by the contact of his other half; for a brief moment they were nearly whole. The agony and despair that overwhelmed him was washed over by an amusement that felt all too familiar. It was searing then, the pain that seemingly cut him in half and left him feeling incomplete. He merely blinks and looks back to his brother, staring blankly at him as he too contemplates outwardly.
He could smell smoke and brimstone.
It was then that Dvaerg was struck with the same body-quaking wave; he stumbles as his consciousness is completely consumed by something beyond this realm. His ears begin to bleed as his physical form cannot handle the energy that surges through it. Magnus reaches up without thought to find that his ears too had bled. Peering down upon his fingers while his brother collects himself, he then begins to curl them into a fist. "Brother." says his twin something shifted inside him, something that left him one step closer to understanding himself.
Magnus looks up. "Yup." Then, instead of punching the other because of his obvious and current condition, he smacks him with all of his might. "Don't hit me again, you Fuck." He growls. And then suddenly smirks at the thought. "I promise you, we will just kill each other in pursuit of victory." He knew this would be true because Magnus won't take a hit from anyone, not even his twin brother. Wasn't it obvious? They were the exact same person, standing up against yourself would be futile. "It is beyond coincidence that you and I have the same ink." he finally says after a moment of looking over Dvaerg.
And did he even want to mention what had their ears leaking?
