East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

SOLO I FORTI VIVO
only the strong live

Hazels latch upon the slender figured male, tea idly raised to her lips as he orders his coffee. Caprice allows herself to observe him from his plain tee to those interesting combat boots. "Like my soul." A brow is arched as she turns away after hearing that interesting unspoken jab at the girl, fixating upon her tea as if it really interests her. He was different, she would give him that but then again, every hunter had their differences. Some she would even go to great lengths to even call freaks. It just so happened that Caprice didn't really fit the appearance of a hunter. Her own curvy build looked natural thanks to her sort height. She almost looked innocent, like a mother to a child somewhere or perhaps a wife. In fact she had never had kids nor did she care too much for the love interest. Sex, that just happened sometimes and it didn't really matter to what gender either.
"So. You must be the unfortunate party that got saddled with me." His voice has her look up from her coffee, plush lips quirking a bit at truth in his statement. "So it would seem."Si, she was the unfortunate one but then again, he too was about to have it rough. She worked alone and the idea of some other trailing around her for maybe only a day or two irritated her to the max. As soon as she can get him a real house and some gear, the better. She nods curtly, that eyebrow arching once more. "I know who you are. " Caprice states bluntly, not bothering to ask for any more information from him. She stares at him, glancing at the dark coffee slowly.

"Caprice de Ricci, " Her name is beautiful, an Italian generation coming to a glorious halt with the murder of her family. Once she is married, if that ever happens, her name would be destroyed along with the memory of her family. Perhaps that is why she was so reluctant. She didn't mean to come off as rude, if she was. She was simply agitated and this morning was not a good one. The night before had been brutal, only returning to a cheap motel outside of the city after the encounter and just a few hours ago did she finally heal after returning to bed at around 2 am. One could see why she may be a little cranky about this whole situation.

Caprice casually takes another sip of her tea, tasting it gently before she lifts her chin slightly. "to dove abiti? (where do you live?) " perhaps with her luck he would already have an embode and she would be able to cut this long encounter in half.
