The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian Ellington
Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after
The vampire could tell well that the huntress was well under the sway of whatever substance ran through her system. Her whole figure was limp and relaxed and though he failed to act upon it, that predatory part within him knew well she was ripe for the taking. As it was, however, Sebastian remained still at her side, simply allowing her to regain some footing, if such was even a possibility. He watched as she so tried to focus upon simply breathing, those often wise quips instead falling to simple silence. Gingerly, the aged vampire handed her his handkerchief at the simple sight of that drool that so pooled around the corner of her lips, as though she struggled, he watched as she so moped up that sweat and spit from her frame. Frankly, he failed to see why anyone so felt inclined to take advantage of a woman in this state. It hardly would have been fun in any fashion. She would have been more akin to a limp board then an active participant. Still, he supposed some people liked that in their love affairs. He sure as hell had no place to judge with the vampire had once been little more than a high class whore, paid to fulfil whatever fantasies so crossed the minds of those equally high class customers. The very nature of some of those sexual encounters he'd taken apart of would surely have been astounding to some.
The curse that left her lips drew his gaze back towards her, his thoughts momentarily pushed aside by that more immediate need to get her away from those very men whom had sought to take advantage of her. Instead, he inquired after her home, fully intending to take her back to some perceived place of sanctuary. He stepped away from that wall, fully intending to collect her only for his actions to stop at that choked sound in the back of her throat. Sebastian paused as those tears began to pour down her cheeks. Slowly, his hand shifted to the back of his neck, almost unsure of what he should do. The vampire had particularly little experience with women crying. After all, during his own day and age, such emotions were often dealt with the older women. Now? Now he tended to be the reason they smiled, the vampire often leaving before the tears came, before they realized his evening with them was but fleeting and temporary. He cleared his throat, "There there, love, it's going to be okay." He uttered softly. The vampire stepped closer towards her, his fingers gingerly running across her cheek in a gesture that certainly could have been mistaken for affection. "You're safe now, daffodile." He attempted to reassure her before gingerly embracing the girl, letting her cry into his chest as those sobs turned into near wails.
Sebastian hadn't the slightest clue on what had so prompted such tears and yet, he hardly moved until those sobs held any hint of lessening. It was only once those wails had subsided slightly that he shifted, lifting her up into his arms entirely as he cradled her frame, moving away from downtown in the process without any real purpose in mind. He suspected she hardly lived in the North and....the East itself was particularly well off. It was judgemental of him, certainly, and yet he was still attempting to get her back to someplace where she might find safe, knowing well how she regarded the world as one simple threat after another. Those tears slowly subsided into weak whimpers and yet, Sebastian hardly faulted her in the slightest, merely continuing those soft mutterings of reassurance whenever he deemed it necessary, the man interchanging between promising her that everything would be fine now and that he was here for her, even if he doubted it mattered in the slightest. Still, that rasp that left her lips finally provided the man of a sense of direction, his head bobbing as the man changed his course towards that destination.
It hardly took long, really, before he arrived in that neighborhood though he could hardly distinguish which home was hers. "Okay love, I know you've had a rough night, but I need you to help me a little here, hm?" He inquired softly, glancing down at the Hunter with an attempt at a warm encouraging smile. "The sooner we can get you home the sooner we can get you all nice and comfortable." After all, he was hardly oblivious to the chills that overcame her frame or the goosebumps upon her arms. That simple eternal chill of death that clung to his own body was certainly not helping her when he had no body heat to give her. It was the eternal curse of being dead. Still, he was at least trying.
