East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

... dying to live... living to die...

Narrowed chocolate eyes continued to roll as the rude woman spoke back. Lexi placed both her hands to set on each hip, shifting her weight rather lazily. Laughter fell from the amber eyed woman and Alexia couldn't help but shoot her own eyes back at her angrily. Her silver blood continued to boil in the presence of the other witch; if only she could turn her into a frog. The thoughts rushing through her head almost cracked a smile across her painted lips.

A door swung open behind the women, one of the shops she'd yet to pass by. His voice low as he started off with an apology, butting into the two women's conversation. Argue... who said we were arguing? Quietly she thought to herself as the other witch sarcastically spoke back to the man, Lexi couldn't help but agree. There was no cat fight in the works (yet) and their voices had been relatively calm, not yelling or screaming at this point. She scoffed as the auburn witch continued on, asking to exchange numbers. Was she serious? What was this woman's damage? Did she really just stop to start flirting with this man? The brunette had remained silent for too long already. She was at the horns of a dilemma; fulfill the woman's request or stomp off. Both her options seemed rater enticing and she'd really love for the chance to throw hot coffee onto that ridiculous dress.

"I think I'll pass and leave you to it. I don't think I need to be a part of whatever street business you run off the sidewalks of downtown." Her words spewed out towards the woman as she rolled her eyes once more and let a giggle escape through her lips. Her head turned back to the man as she gave him an equally nasty look before turning herself back around to continue down the sidewalk. This time, even though she'd never admit to it, was time for her to pay far more attention to where she was walking. She still had things she'd much rather do than watch that woman flirt over coffee with the strange man. Her first run in with the natives, not going well, hopefully she could change that during the rest of her time downtown today.

She turned her head slightly as she peered over her shoulder, looking back to the duo she'd just left. Making sure both of them stayed there.
