East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She smirked at Killian's goodbye words to Lazarus. She didn't really know what prick meant but it sure didn't sound like a compliment so it had to be right. She nodded. "Good riddance." At least he didn't seem to want to leave too, at least not yet. She was curious of this whole homosexual thing. It had the word sex in it which Nadya had told her is what mating means so it had to do something with that. She was curious of everything having to do with sex now that she had experienced it for the first time. If he was eager to talk about it then she would be just as eager to listen. He said something about winging it and she tilted her head, brows furrowing in question but she let him drink from his glass, trying to be as patient as possible as she squirmed on her bar stool. She watched as he made a noise on his glass, like a secret cue to the barkeep to get him another drink. Intrigued, her eyes widened before she hurridly finished her own drink and tapped the glass the same way. Of course she timed it just as the barkeep was walking away from having refilled the man beside her and he looked annoyed at her but still came to give her a refill and she gave him her sweetest smile in return, as if that would make up for him having to walk more.

She knew she walking a fine line with liquor but she didn't care. She felt safe with this guy so why not have some fun? His first try at explaining only earned him a couple blinks and a blank stare. "Same sex?" She had no idea what he was talking about with that. Apparently it wasn't widely appreciated. "Is that like sleeping with a father and son or brothers or something? I've heard that's frowned upon." She recalled that from her conversation with Nadya. She watched as he handed the barkeep some money and told him to keep the drinks coming for both of them. She grinned. "Thanks!" The man then finally gave his name, Killian. She smiled. "Lass...that's a pet name, right? Oh, and it's nice to meet you too, Killian."
