East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Leave it to males being the least concerned about their well-being. All males were the same in this aspect. For whatever reason they hardly cared for self-preservation, unless they were being directly attacked or challenged by another. Any possible threat that could occur in the future was left forgotten and hardly given a second thought. Men. They were absolutely confusing to understand. The moment she thought she understood, they would do something quite different. His assurance that the business man he had told off wouldn't come back to harm him, or that he would attack him too, was answered with a playful roll of her eyes. Males. She hoped for his sake that the man that threatened him would not come after him at all. In this town Raven was all too familiar with Dark Hunters. Some were honest. Others were shady. There was only one Dark Hunter she truly trusted, and even then she had her doubts at times.

Leaving the bustling avenue behind them she could feel a bit of relief. However, that twinge of pain could still be felt in the back of her head. That other half of her clearly didn't want to remain trapped within its cage. How she wished she could learn to allow her other half the ability to be let out, if only so she wouldn't have to cope with another killing. Although she trusted her feral side when it came to protecting them, or eliminating any threats, she could hardly trust her for anything else. Oh, but that pain she felt was not helping her focus at all. For a moment she leaned into the man as they walked his arm still looped with her own. Raven didn't trust others that much. Hell she hardly trusted any males to begin with. Yet she was showing a very rare show of trusting this complete stranger. His comment that she wasn't the only one caused her head to tilt. Of course she wasn't the only Were in the world, but she pondered on whether he meant she wasn't the only one that suffered from her feral disease. Henry had something similar, but she assumed it was due to being a new adult Were. Blue-grey eyes shifted down to see his arm and the bite mark that was there. Gently she delivered her question politely.

"I was born a Were, were you born a Were or was that the bite that caused you to turn?"

His inquiry of wanting friends as a way of payment for helping her was met with a wide grin. The lupine had many Were friends. Some she was close to and others she merely knew about. Happily she spoke up, giving him a bit of insight on the on goings of the city and where he might be able to find his kind. After all, he was one of them, and in a way, there kind needed to help look out for one another.

"I am a part of the Nightshade Pack. We own the West District. We're in charge of the Ark. It's where our kind participates in a fighting ring. You fight and win money, or watch others fight and bet. It's a nice way to unleash that other side of yourself. I could introduce you to my mate Tobi. You two might get along well. And I'm sure he'd appreciate the fact you helped me."
