East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

Tetadore could hardly deny the simple...comfort he took in that glimpse of excitement that danced across the young woman's features at the offer to finally join their pack. Though he had taken his time in providing such a 'gift' to her, Tetradore had long since stopped doubting the young woman's authenticity. That apology fell quite near easily from his lips, the Alpha entirely willing to admit that he had been wrong about her. Even despite such admission, Alexis seemed entirely quick to push off that apology. His head tilted to the side ever so slightly as he listened to the woman and yet, he was almost surprised to find that she truly did understand. It was such a rarity for the feline. So many were prone to villainizing his actions that it caught him off guard entirely. "I was." He uttered simply in agreement, "Thank you." In a world so entirely determined to bring the Alpha down, he suspected she really had little idea of how much it meant to him, something so small as that which she had given him in return. He could hardly stop himself from returning that warm simper on her lips with a rare grin of his own, the man altogether keen to assure her of just how much she was wanted in that pack.

A part of the Alpha enjoyed that near beaming grin upon her features at the mention of Raven. That mention of having one of the rooms with the pack prepared for her, however, was quite abruptly turned down - only with the assurance that she was capable of doing so herself. A soft chuckle left his lips as the girl so playfully declared that it would take unbolting her to remove her from the Ark, this time. "Don't worry, I don't think that'll be an issue." He responded. Alexis had certainly changed since he last met her and yet, the girl still retained a sort of sweet nature that he found himself rather fond of. His head bobbed ever so slightly. "It's good to see you too....we'll be expecting you for dinner tonight. I mean, I won't tell Raven so it'll be a surprise but...I ensure there's extra food. I gotta go but...see you tonight, yeah?" The man continued. After all, he had come to the East for a reason. Better to get it over with and return home as soon as he could.
