East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There was hardly any change in the child vampire's features as Dareios' own shifted to reveal the true nature of his species. After all, she had been ruffling him, making him squirm, and all with only words. The end result of was only expected. It was for her at least. This was the very point she was trying to make. It didn't matter how solid Dareios thought his ability to remain hidden as what he was...he was going to run across something that made him slip. This time it wasn't at a human.

"But we wanted to be seen as monsters before. Humans try to kill what they don't understand and think they are better than. Being a monster and showing them that they aren't a match for us is what kept us alive. Nowadays you have humans thinking it's the cool thing to do to hang out with those that are supposed to be dangerous." Anna shrugged easily and her gaze began to wander as the more childish part of her mind was beginning to wane in attention span.

"I live that way." She pointed behind her up the road. "The big white manor around the corner with the gryphon statue next to the gate. You should come visit. Chrishlyn doesn't live there anymore, it's just me now...it's big and quiet...no one hears a thing. No one comes around anymore, they all think it's empty." If that wasn't a big hint at a safe place for Dareios to be what he truly was then she didn't know what was. "There's nice stuff to look at inside too, all sorts of paintings." She wasn't an arts person, at least she didn't think she was, but Chrishlyn had obviously been and lavish artwork decorated the hallways and rooms. "No need to be a stranger." Anna side-stepped the man with a playful smirk, twisting about to keep her front facing him though she switched to be on the other side of him in preparation to continue on her path. "We're the same after all."
