East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She tilted her head, watching Henry. He seemed so quiet and thoughtful and she couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing. She just felt so bad for him. She wanted him to be happy more than anything and she could tell he really loved Sterling with everything he had. He had to get past this or he might always regret it. When she looked back up, he was staring at her, like intently staring. She raised her brows. "Henry, you alright? You gonna be sick or something?" She didn't have any idea what was going through his head. When he stepped forward, she froze and tensed, her eyes getting wider as she searched his face for answers. "Henry..?" She whispered, her voice questioning as he got closer and his hand reached for her back, his other hand to her cheek.

His gaze roamed down her body and she felt her body respond despite knowing how he felt about Sterling. She was still so new to this world but she'd learned quickly that she loved the feeling that someone wanted her, that she could have such pleasure with her new body. A part of her said it was wrong because he didn't love her and she didn't love him that way. But at the same time, she told herself he needed her right now and as his friend, she wanted to be there for him. That's when he kissed her, and though she knew she might hate herself for it later, she kissed him back. As he deepened the kiss, she moaned into his mouth, opening for his tongue, twirling hers with it in a dangerous dance. When he pulled back, she whimpered reluctantly but let him, searching his face, wondering what she would see.

He seemed almost confused for a minute and she chewed on her bottom lip and looked down, already feeling low and ashamed. What kind of friend was she? What was the right thing to do here? She looked back up at his explanation, putting on a brave face as she smiled softly and nodded. "I know, Henry. It's okay." She felt like she needed to reassure him. Even though she was starting to sink lower and lower, she still felt the need to comfort him. He asked her if she would come with him and she knew what he was asking. She inhaled sharply, pondering her options. She knew the safe choice would be to go home to Frost and let him work it out, but what would that mean for him? Despite her questionable emotions, she knew she couldn't leave him, not like this. He was breaking and in his own way, he was crying out for help. She could hear him and she couldn't turn away.

Offering him another smile, she reached out, her fingers entwining with his as she gave a gentle squeeze and stepped in close this time. "Wherever, just take me with you." Her gaze met his, full of acceptance and understanding. If this was what he needed, then she would give it to him. At the end of the day, she would do anything for him.
