East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It isn't uncommon for some Were's to enjoy being within their fur form. There was something quite peaceful when one can look at the cruel world with complete focus, seeing what others refuse to see. To some, those that were not Were's saw these certain people as nothing more than deranged animals. They could be partly correct, but the majority carried an equal balance of acting like the two, some more human than others. Yet there were some that acted out more like a beast than human, finding it much easier to understand this world when using basic instincts. She felt comforted knowing her place and rank. By blood she was Alpha, but by treatment she was an outsider, much lower than the common Omega. Always she couldn't understand the balance of what she was supposed to be and what she wanted to be. Being a loner she could do what she wanted without commands and it gave her a sense of freedom. However, it was not natural for her to be this way. She needed to be among others of her own kind, whether it was to be on a truce term or not. Survival ensured only the strongest and the smartest would continue to outwit, outplay, and outlast any threat headed their way. She had paired up with the leopard only to help him get food, she had allied herself with the Witch to keep her head on her shoulders. Being chased once more, this time by another Dark Hunter, allowed the girl to create some sort of bond with the Fox. Were's could easily bound themselves, if temporarily for their continued existence, it was like a basic setting that they could follow naturally.

As soon as the girl followed her plea, slate eyes widen slightly at the figure of the much smaller canine. Ebony skull would tilt to the side curiously, as she looked over her scarlet form assessing the fact that if they would hide it would be rather challenging. One grey ear twitched when she heard a shout coming from the Dark Hunter. Ignoring any civilians around she began to run, long legs for once making her be in the lead. As they ran she would zig-zag along the sidewalk, as she heard the sound of the gun blaring off, silver bullets flying over their heads or dodging their sides. Every now and then when she felt the fox starting to lag behind, she would turn her head and snarl encouraging the girl, in her own way, to move her damn legs faster. As they continued down the sidewalk she noticed how dingy and abandoned the place seemed to be. Concerned, she would raise her head seeing him in the distance, she would slow down only to bear a sharp left as she entered the pitch black alleyway. Thankfully she was a creature that could see through the night fairly well, and she noticed an assortment of abandoned boxes, trash, piles of wood and other junk and an old rotten metal fire escape. Turning her head to the fox, she would point with one grey paw towards the stack of trash and piled up wood, her serious voice seemed much more garbled as it brushed her mind.

"Hide there...I'll be above..."

As soon as the fox began to make her way to what would be her designated hiding spot she would leap upwards for the base of the fire escape, running up the old metal. She was far too big to hide in the trash, but here above, she may be trapped, but she was in a better attack position should she have to defend herself. Hunkering down, blue-grey eyes shifted towards the entrance of the alleyway noticing the shadowy figure of the Dark Hunter. Black lips silently pulled back, as she watched the Dark Hunter slowly approach the alley way. The wolf's weight caused the fire escape metal to squeak in protest, which made the Dark Hunter turn his head and aim his gun at her. Swiftly she continued to climb to the top of the roof, ducking her head when she heard the gun go off, as the old metal continued to squeak aloud. Reaching the roof, she slowly looked over the edge noticing the Dark Hunter was loading his gun once more. Letting out a bark, she would look to the side noticing the next building was close, allowing her an easy attempt to jump to the other roof. After leaping on the roof, she would let out another bark, eyes narrowed not on the Hunter, but on the pile of garbage that hid the fox.

"Stay...I'll be back."

Swiftly she ran, aiming for another roof, causing the Dark Hunter to move out of the alley way heading down the street following the wolf. Yet she would not go far. As soon as he began to run down, assuming she went straight, she would turn around and leap back. Eventually she would make it back to the alley way where she left the fox, her nose moved back and forth attempting to pick up the scent of the girl. Running down the fire escape she would leap off the last step, turning her form to look at the trash pile, tilting her head to the side curiously. Soft sounding voice seemed to barely make it out as she asked the creature to expose herself, after all, she had a right to know just who she was.

"Foxy Loxy...come...out."
