The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Deprived of fun you would think once she was free she would go absolutely mad. Being able to make her own decisions instead of living in the confines of her 'spot' she had the ability to go anywhere she pleased and do whatever her heart's desires. It was a chance to start living in such a way she never thought possible. However, all emotional desires were trapped. The practical side of her understood that she was alone and she needed to fend for herself. Although her pack wouldn't protect her, should any danger come along, she felt comforted by their numbers, an instinctual thing to feel safe amongst her own. Even though her pack had never shown her any sign that they would provide her safety, rather threatening it over and over again, with their numerous...events. The idea for fun was lost on her as she struggled to figure out her own niche in this crazy mixed up world that was full with its own danger. Always she thought ahead getting the basic necessities down: from food, to shelter, and safety. Fun just wasn't one of those things that was important to her. Luckily though she was learning how to unwind and relax for a while. She had friends to thank for that. Funny, friends, never had she ever thought she would ever have someone to give such a title, let alone a few people. Moving carefully among the throng of people and chairs she held the door open for Alexis, walking down the sidewalk heading south.
"You are going to have to. What happens if a Dark Hunter corners you or you are in some sort of danger and no one is around?"
Blue-grey eyes held that questioning look towards the vixen. What she said she knew to be true. Raven hoped Alexis knew as well. Quietly she moved down the sidewalk, ignoring the sound and bright colors that seemed like sirens to the other folks, as they poured into one store or shop after the other. Worldly possessions were not important to her, partly because she never really had anything to call her own before. Heading for the outskirts she would pick up her gait a little bit faster as soon as they left behind the hustle and bustle, going down the street, anticipating the will to shift as soon as they were secure within the dark woods. She knew very well Alexis was capable of protecting herself she just needed to learn how and be a bit more self-confident. A small smile was thrown her way, her voice gentle with a ring of encouragement.
"You have to know how to defend yourself...just because you are a small canine doesn't mean you are weak and useless."
