Taliah is almost convinced the man is going to ignore her, the viper staring at him devoid of emotion as he seems to debate on whether to walk away or not. When he finally looks at her and moves to help her, there's almost a wave of relief that rushes through her blood. She didn't particularly want to climb up the shelves. "The all purpose five pound bags, and I need 15 of them," she says without missing a beat. It was rather... irritating she had managed to mess up on the order for the week. She owned a bakery for god's sake, how did she forget to order flour?! She prayed it would be enough to get her through tomorrow. Sighing, she glances down at the basket she was carrying and frowns. Taliah hadn't really thought through her... actions. She didn't own a car and she would still need to get this inside her bakery doors. It was after hours so she knew Ludo would be long gone.
Still, she continues to frown before looking at the man once more. "Could I hire you for an hour? I will pay you in cash," she asks, tilting her head at him slightly, the dark woman formulating a plan in her head. The viper normally didn't ask for help, not like this, yet she also knew she wasn't capable of carrying 15 bags of flour back to the bakery. Shifting her stance, she reaches up as he begins to hand her the flour, "I need help carrying it back to my shop," she explains after a moment, the squealing of teenage girls making her wince. How girls could make such a sound was beyond her, "I'll even pay for your groceries today," she offers, making sure he knew she wouldn't take no for an answer.
Catching a glimpse of movement down the aisle, she glances up, her brows furrowing as she sees the group of teenagers moving closer to them. "Oh, for heaven's sake," she mutters grumpily as she shifts her cart closer to the man to let the kids pass. They were standing four abreast and giggling about god's know what, not getting anything as they continued on past, Taliah resisting the urge to glower at them. Instead, she turns her attention back to the man before her as the teenagers finally past, "It's beyond me why they would find a grocery store to hang out in," she mutters mostly to herself, thought it's loud enough to reach the ear's of the stranger, "Go to the mall," she states grumpily before returning her attention back to the taller man.
"What do you say?"
