East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
TIn retrospect, Serafina might have admitted that she was taking things just a touch too far. However, the suddenly brazen witch could hardly help herself within the moment. The feeling of his flesh under her fingertips had coaxed within her a fire she hadn't truly known she'd ever had. Her tongue ran over his flesh as she felt the sudden rigidity return to his figure, clearly he'd drawn some metaphorical line within the sand, one she'd crossed. There was a soft sigh upon her lips as she pulled her mouth from his skin, letting her head momentarily rest upon his shoulder. "I do believe that is kind of the point." Serafina muttered back, her grey tinged gaze glancing upwards at him. During her rather short youth, she'd seen many a girl try to claim what's there's with such a visible mark. Up till now Serafina had no one to claim, though weather or not she actually expected such a gesture to mean anything at all was another matter entirely. Regardless of perhaps the young girl's disappointment, she brushed off his discontent, withdrawing her figure from his if only to focus upon the wound that she could feel but hardly even begin to see.

Her gaze lifted upwards towards him, her eyes observing the grin upon his features as his thought process went to places much darker. Compared to what he was suggesting, her gestures were entirely innocent. "One day..." She commented in an almost sultry tone just barely above a whisper, "You'll have to show me." She hardly dwelt upon the prospect long, however, before her fingertips touched the wound resting just below his pant line, her lips pressing together, her eyebrows furrowing as she tried to imagine just what she was feeling. Serafina felt the man lean back, giving her more access to his wound then she had previously. She felt his fingertips brush against her flesh, his tough feather light as he guided her further down and then around to his outer hip. His challenging comment brought a small twitch to the corner of her lips but the young woman took a moment to respond, her hand withdrawing as her gaze refocused on the herbs in front of her. "We'll need something much stronger for that..." She muttered to herself thoughtfully, her finger tips brushing against her lips.

"if this one fails to work, you really should stop coming here. But it won't. That is, unless there is something else your not telling me." She commented with a pointed look falling upon her features. "I'll need better access to it, if you don't mind." She stated, turning her gaze to the shelves that also lined the small room. Some of their rarer herbs, spices, and oils were left in here, deemed too precious for the public's awareness. She turned her back towards the man, providing him with his own privacy (deeming that he was vastly more concerned of this then even she was) whilst also occupying herself with the creation of her third and hopefully final concoction. Really, after all this, she deserved a hefty paycheck. Or a real date...or something. The prospect had crossed her mind but the girl hadn't felt inclined enough to voice it. Not until she had proved to him that she did know something about her potions.
