East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She couldn't stop the tears from prickling at her eyes in happiness as Raven walked down that aisle and they said their "I do"s. It was so magical, better than any story book. She'd never seen a real wedding before and it was everything she'd thought and more. It gave her hope for the future, for something to look forward to some day maybe. She wasn't in a hurry or anything. Sure, she knew she was falling hard and fast for Alexander, but he had lifetimes on her. Maybe he didn't want to be tied down to a mere mortal. Maybe he didn't see her as his forever, though she certainly hoped he had least wanted to stick it out until there was a reason not to. She knew she was just a blip on his radar as far as life experiences go but she enjoyed every minute she got to spend with him and she still had so much to learn.

She'd invited Alexander to the wedding when she got the invitation but she had yet to see him. Maybe he'd gotten busy with a hunt or something. She tried not to let her disappointment show as she put on a smile and said polite pleasantries to anyone who slowed to say hi. She didn't know a lot of these people save her pack but she was trying to come off as approachable. Meanwhile, she got plenty of entertainment out of watching the other guests. Tetradore was very indulging of Raven, giving her hugs and standing politely for pictures. Tobias was behaving himself for the moment as well. Alexis widened that smile when she stepped in for the pack photo, though she was quick to step out of reach as soon as she could. Pictures still made her flustered.

She wanted to leave Raven in the spotlight so when she could, she stole to her best friend's side and wrapped her in a hug. "You look beautiful, Raven. I'm so happy for you." She even gave Tobias a smile, though she decided not to try to hug him in case it confused him. "You look good in a tux, Tobias. Maybe you should wear one, more." She offered a little smirk teasingly before moving off to enjoy the refreshments and some food. She picked a little food for her plate and got herself something to drink, standing off to the side to watch the others. There was an interesting thing going on with a dark haired girl and who seemed to be her boyfriend. He had blonde hair and gave her a chilly vibe like a hunter would.

They seemed determined to catch this other gentleman that she didn't know who kept disappearing and reappearing in other locations around the reception. She smirked, watching this game before her gaze fell on Tetradore and Mira. They made a lovely couple and she sighed in contentment to see them around each other. Smiling, she continued to let her gaze sweep the room.
