East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It seemed that she would be shifting after all. His confirmation that she was tiny and he could easily carry her has the Brazilian woman hesitating. She desperately wanted to learn what was inside that warehouse and if she had to shift then so be it. The issue was the struggle that came with it, though she had warned Tetradore of the exhaustion that followed her shift, she was not mentally prepared to take part in the breaking of her bones to rearrange into such a small reptile. Taliah didn't participate much in the shifts, even when she was young - now it was simply for her own safety. It wouldn't take much for someone to walk by and scoop her up and take her away. She sighs after a moment and doesn't respond to Tetradore, not that she had a chance to as he crawls out of the car and begins to strip.

She watches him for a long moment, her dark hues gazing at the hardened muscles before she looks away. It was hardly the first time she had seen Tetradore naked and yet, she was still sitting in the car and if she continued to watch him... she would be afforded a view even Taliah might blush. Breathing heavily through her nose, she finally grasps that handle and steps out of the car gracefully, her arms pulling her upright only for the sound of the shift to reach her ears and along comes the Were King padding around the car. Blinking in surprise, it was somehow fitting, the large predator that now sat in front of her. The quiet yawn that provides a view of the lethal fangs within his mouth has her watching them briefly before turning away.

Taliah hesitates for a long moment before she kicks off her shoes, tossing them into the car, followed by her socks. The cool pavement on her barefoot send a shudder up her spine, the Brazilian woman despising the cold. Facing away from Tetradore, she gently grasps her shirt and tugs it over her head, her jeans are next, kicking them off carefully and throwing them in the car too, making sure they didn't land on the bread. Again, a brief hesitation before she swiftly unclasps her black bra and matching underwear, the cold biting at her skin as she folds her arms over her chest. Closing her eyes, she releases a deep breath, calling on that shift she hardly cared for. Instantly, the cracking of her bones are quite audible as she pants through it, her body contorting in odd positions. It takes her much longer than Tetradore to finish that change but she keeps her eyes closed throughout the entirety, only peeling open those reptilian eyes to note that everything was so much larger than it was before.

Her own physique is almost like a dragon, a mini one at that, and one with no wings nor legs to be found. A rare species that would most definitely never be found on the north west coast unless you were a shifter like her. Her tongue snakes out, tasting the air, her cool green body shifting slightly from the coil she finds herself in. It's with that first movement that her scales change color to a deep indigo blue as exhaustion washes over her. Oh, how she desperately wanted to sleep, her body ached and she was freezing. Perhaps shifting was fun and exciting for others but for her... it hardly wanted her to do it again and again. Opening up her mind, she establishes the connection with Tetradore, his massive body looming over her as she lifts that dragon like head to face him, slitted green eyes watching him, "I forgot to tell you I change colors," she admits, the exhaustion in her mind easily noted. Drawing on all her reserves, she uncoils, groaning mentally before she slithers towards the large cat, Taliah pausing at his massive paws.

Her tongue darts out again, the snake in her taking over, as she inspects the lethal claws protruding from his paws, "How should we do this?" She asks, her slitted eyes gazing up at the cat. If she had enough energy... she might be able to twine up his leg but the thought of lifting her body, even though it hardly weighed anything, made her wince.
