East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There was definitely something to the demeanor of the Dark Hunter woman beside him. She seemed so tense, almost paranoid. Her gaze kept sweeping over the rest of the people in the bar as if expecting someone to jump forward and attack. Did something happen to her? Christian raised a brow in question before reminding himself that he shouldn't care. It wasn't any of his business and he certainly wasn't looking to play hero for anyone, especially a woman he just met. She looked like she could handle herself, after all.

He watched as she downed the drink, seeming to savor it like it would be her last or something. She said that she'd see if he lives up to his reputation and he smirked, raising his glass. "Guess so." The minute the alcohol was gone, though, something seemed to shift and the Dark Hunter had a hungry look in her eyes. Definitely looked like an addict, but again, it was none of his business. So Christian only nodded when she motioned for the bartender, wanting another shot. He definitely wasn't going to turn it down. Bad influence? Maybe so, but he was never trying to be a good one so why not?

She asked about another round and he nodded. "Why not?" When she suddenly turned to ask him about his own business, the Warlock tensed for a minute, wondering how he could deflect. She mentioned lady problems and he couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head. "More like life and death problems, emphasis on death." He muttered as he downed the next glass poured for him. He wasn't about to tell her about the New Eden coven and how they'd been having fun killing him and bringing him back. That would probably be a quick way to a more permanent death.
