East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning

Despite the ever lingering petulant silence from the maiden, Aislinn remained nothing if not attentive to her surroundings. Sacrosanct was a vast city, compared to what she had become accustomed to. Each and every corner seemed to hold something new that was altogether fascinating for the overly critical woman. How much life had changed since she had last wandered through streets filled with human life! Her silent observations hardly lasted long before the voice of the vampire beside her coaxed the Unicorn from her contemplations. The bright blue of her gaze flickered towards him as the pair stepped off of the sidewalk, crossing the street at a pace that even Aislinn was willing to admit was...fast. Nevertheless, the Celtic woman made little effort to hide her very reasoning for entering what she was certain was a god forsaken city when it was so filled with his kind. After all, if her stallion failed to hold his own, then perhaps he too was not worthy of her attention.

Silence drifted between the pair for several moments longer before, abruptly, the man at her side offered to assist with her far greater conundrum. A small frown tugged at the corner of her fair lips in contemplation of his proposal. Her very silence seemed to prompt the vampire onward, in some attempt to assure her how...capable he was of finding that which she had thus far failed. Still, Aislinn supposed there was little harm in accepting his offer. Far be it from her to question the will of The Morrigan, her gaelic goddess had always held a questionable fate for the Queen. "I doubt you will be of much help." Aislinn admitted after a moment, though it had little to do with her clear tendency to think less of his species and more with the simple lack of information she had. "I am looking for a Were-Horse. He is white, though I do not know his name. His rider is a Dark Hunter. He is...shorter than you...with sandy blonde hair. They were traveling with another man. A fae, I think, though I did not get a good look at him." Aislinn was entirely aware of how feeble her quest surely was in such a vast metropolis. Surely there were a plethora of men capable of matching her terribly vague description.

A small frown crossed the maiden's lips as she glanced behind them towards the Eastern part of the city they had left. His words were...obvious, much less ones she had already noticed, having taken to living within the North for several weeks. William's flat was...the very sort of luxury Aislinn had anticipated and, even better, it was perfectly quiet. "So I had noticed." She responded flatly, "I am not terribly fond of your...city center." At least, such would be the case were it not for the plethora of shopping held downtown, stores that Aislinn had yet to discover. For now, at least, she was inclined to avoid the area, hopefully her stallion did not find his sanctuary amongst those towering skyscrapers.

Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is torn
Look and see her how she sparkles
it's the last unicorn
